Love how EtH is meticulous and has a clear plan. Obviously pushed for this to be done before the tour as it’s going to be totally transformational to the way we play, so needs to be worked on ASAP.

It’s clear to most, but not sure Ole and Co would have even thought about that, let alone have a strategy.
Ole would still have DDG and Maguire playing weekly with Mcfred in front. I wonder what CB Ole would of gone for instead of Martinez..

He'll give you a heart attack every now and then by taking a stupid risk. Everything else is top drawer.

De Gea was giving me a heart attack every time he kicked the ball, especially with his shorter range passes into a busy midfield or defensive area

At his peak maybe, but for the past 3 season, he was pushing them to danger almost every time.

Yeh he regressed in this area for sure, but when you compare this to other keepers; Navas being an extreme example, I still think he was better then most. At his peak, he was brilliant at it.

Love Romano's bullshit "ETH called him in the last 48 hours to reassure him, whilst wearing blue socks having just finished a shepherd's pie" add-on.

Because if there's anything players want with a relatively short transfer saga the everyone views as an inevitably, is direct reassurance via intervention from the manager. This is a classic example of Romano adding on a bullshit, non-disprovable 'fact' to make it look like he has more insight than reporters he rips information from

What a petty comment. Romano, of all the journos out there, is probably among the few that absolutely doesn't need to embellish stories for extra clicks.

Oh like feck he doesn't that's why he rewords his own Tweets several times during the course of the week because he doesn't need the clicks.

Sorry mate, you saying he does bs or doesn't?
He pads out his stuff because he’s basically the only [reputable] journalist who makes daily updates. Lots of “Personal terms not an issue, player X loves club Y!” from Romano on a daily basis. The difference between someone like he and Ornstein is pretty evident — the latter who only report when he has actual updates.

Sorry mate, you saying he does bs or doesn't?
He definitely started as Click bait Merchant who Piggy backed mostly on others work initially but now he certainly has developed better contacts and do have his exclusives time to time but he does carefully cultivate his reputation as some sort of Transfer Guru by regurgitating stuff and pretending to be ITK on every transfer by throwing out Vague and Generic comments most of the time .

Ever occur to you that he does it because people are constantly on his case to give updates?

No. He's a fecking grifter. An aggregator. That's his tactic. Reword information found by other journalists, add vague, non disprovable tidbits, post the same Tweet several times over few days for maximum retweets.

His business model is grand and he's very successful at it but its getting to the point of arguing wrestling is real if you can't see that's what he does. If people genuinely think he randomly became the guru of world football transfers two or three years ago then I don't know what to say.

You either think this man is connected to every agent and every player at every club in every country and is therefore in a position to give exclusive scoops on every single major transfer in a way that you're not minutely suspicious about - or you think he's a grifter whose successfully made a name for himself cleverly exploiting social media and fans insatiable desire for transfer news.

David is better at shot-stopping but Andre is vastly superior with ball at his feet.
Alisson's addition to that Liverpool won them the 6th UCL and 19th League title.
Virgil's fixed that back line but Alisson was the key ingredient which got them over the line.
Andre's signing could have similar-ish effect kind of effect.
Could. But who knows; luck favors the brave.
You need to be bold chucking out you GK off the back of him winning the golden gloves.

But good gracious me, the way this GK transition being managed is a shamble.
What?

Ah, right, you're the dude with the Romano obsession:

Not sure why he bothers you this much.

Because he's every fecking where. He's posted 16 times and Onana in the last 72 hours. Every update posted here. Each one saying feck all the previous one hadn't.

He's IndyKilla but smarter and better at it

He clearly isn't...at least at this stage. But he is just capitalizing on the multitude of football fans that have a dire need to have multiple updates every day. Romano is just a product of his environment.

This is absolute feckin nonsense.

Again, this is just bollocks. Pretending what? Do you ever see the sheer amount of demand he has for info on transfers? Has he made it his profession? Absolutely. Is he pretending to be 'ITK on every transfer and throwing out vague and generic comments'? Is he feck.
