Anderson vs Fabregas

I can't believe we're so fecking lucky to have a player like Anderson. If he keeps the right attitude and stays injury free, we could have the pleasure of seeing this boy dominate the game for us for over a decade.

We've always had great players but this team could be really special, I feel. We could dominate domestic and european competitions for years with a the current foundation. The Rio-Vidic partnership should be rock solid for another five years, Evra is the greatest player ever, and we could have Ronaldo, Rooney, Nani and Anderson for the next decade. How does it get any better?
 
Fabregas has been great for Le'Arse for 2 seasons now and anyone who doesnt respect his world class ability are just wrong in the head. Anderson has lot's of talent, is there anything he cant do?

Anderson probably will be a much more rounded attacking midfielder than Fabregas in time, but Cesc if vital for Arsenal and a great player, even though he is a complete cock sucking twat!

I love how Anderson has completely outclass him in every area in his meetings for both us and Porto. Its only a matter of time when we can say with conviction Anderson is better than Cesc, I dont think we are there yet.

They're different sorts of player, both are brilliant. Fabragas' passing and vision are absolutely top-notch, plus he's good in front of goal when he's confident. Anderson's passing, while excellent, isn't quite as incisive, and he doesn't score, as yet... but he's more dynamic and better defensively.
 
I hope one day a column would talkt about Fabregas and Anderson:

"Fabregas is a wonderful player, but he is most definitely overshadowed by Anderson from Manchester United. Let's look at these two match during the 2007~2008 season."
 
Anderson had a very good game but you have to put things in context as well. Carrick, Fletcher and Nani were also brilliant and I'd argue they were all better than Anderson. Then Fabregas who is going through a real rough patch as it is had Eboue, Gilberto and Hleb who were all terrible by his side. Not so easy to shine when all your midfielders are playing rubbish and not looking up for it. For the past two months Fabregas has been in very indifferent form, just going through a rough spell and he will come out it eventually, hopefully by our next meeting in April!

Good player though Anderson, still has a way to go before you can call him better than Fabregas imo. Last season was putting in as good if not better performances and had set up the joint highest amount of goals in the league. Seem to remember him running the game at Old Trafford last season as well so who says Fabregas isn't a big game player? People saying he has got the better of him two times but I wouldn't agree, this game yes definitely but at the Emirates he held his own and nothing more, Fabregas scored to level the game. Someone even mentioned the Porto game? Amazing what one dribble on youtube will make you think he had a good game, he didn't do much for the rest of that game, something the youtube clip doesn't show

Very different players though even though they play the same position.

This anderson-fabregas battles reminds me so much of those keano(at age 30+)-gerrard battles. Fabregas seems to get the media love but almost always gets owned by anderson in a game. In the same way, gerrard seemed to be the media's love child but always got owned by by an ageing keano whenever united met liverpool.
 
Let's hope Fabregas and Anderson are doing batlle for the next ten years eh?

My exact feeling! Anderson is so strong and believes so much in his ability! He's outplayed Gerrard and Fabregas flat out...

You'd be lying though. Had anderson finshed 90 minutes he would easily have been man of the match. He and Carrick coordinated our victory, while, Flecth and Rooney were just executing their "instructions" from midfield. ......

Fabregas' past has nothing to do with Anderson. So it's unfair to bring up last season when comparing they two. they were at clubs with very diffrent stature.

This year Anderson has met him 2 times this season and has out played him on both occasions. While being with far less experience and not being as used to English football as Fabregas. You can't hide from that fact. If Anderson stays fit it is inevitable that with his all round game he will eventually surpass Fabregas.
