Anderson in multiple criminal cases?

Can’t believe how many people are calling him on here. I thought he was a great guy who loved playing for United. Problem was that he didn’t have the desire that the great players have to get and keep fit.
Remember him schooling Gerrard at Anfield and scoring a penalty against Chelsea in the CL final.
He came across as a top guy and clearly was very talented, sadly it just never worked out.
I for one have great memories of him.

Is it sad that it didn’t work out if he couldn’t be arsed to work and look after his body though? He was as lazy as they come and wasted his talent.

Pretty sure he bossed Fabregas as well one season, may be wrong.

He just didn’t have any desire to stay fit, combined with his injuries ended his career here, I enjoyed his time though.

Regardless of what he might be found guilty of, the nickname 'Andershow' is the most criminal thing he's ever done.

Just saw this post on his IG by random which led me here.

Wtf

Nothing pisses me off more than people not paying for their children. Especially the likes of Anderson, who's been a millionaire many times over.

Those Brazilian cops are ruthless. Is there a famous Brazilian they haven’t arrested?

Doesn't seem very bright, dad died at 14, playing professional football not long after, millionaire by 18, possibly developed a questionable relationship with alcohol by 19.

Didn't scream "road to success"

Either way should stop being an arsehole and support his kids.

An amazing talent, with the brain of someone who would eat his own feel if the shop was closing in 10 minutes.

How can he take care of the children... they run fast. He could only run for 15 mins when he was 26 so he probably cant run at all now.

It seems like a lot if our players from that era have horrible personalities/completely dodgy. Crazy how you can go from playing for united and fighting to win the best competitions to this. Obviously linked to his company who are probably dodgy people he knew growing up.

One of my least favorite players to ever be at the club. He was a fraud of a player, took a paycheck but had no interest in being a professional footballer. That in itself was bad enough, but for some bizarre reason half our fanbase clung onto the idea he would save our midfield for years even though he showed literally nothing to suggest he had the ability to do so. And to make it worse, how many transfer windows did we go through, not signing a proper midfielder, with the hopes Anderson would come good?

Couldn't care less, won't lose any sleep, seems like karma for stealing a wage from United for the best part of eight years.

Didn't he get into some crypto business at some point as well?

I think it was in the Da Silva twins' autobiography that the description of Anderson made him sound like he had the intelligence and mentality of a child.

Team would be on the coach to an away game and he'd start bouncing in his chair and excitedly pointing out of the window because they were passing a McDonald's.

Wait...you're not supposed to do that?

I still haven’t an idea of why Ferguson put up with Anderson. He’s done away with much better players for far less than what’s written about Anderson’s lack of professionalism.
