Perhaps if you had started a more general discussion of peoples player ratings or how a dozen people will see different things in a player and a game it might not have looked as though you were picking on one poster in particular to have a go at.
There is also the issue Wibble raised of having the forum cluttered up with threads questioning every post we make.

For the first and last time its not a race to create a 'rating' thread. If you're gonna do it, do it right. Posts with "ok" as an opening post i consider nothing more than spam in the United forum in particular.
