Won't really matter, he'll play about 5 minutes all season.
With regards to keeping Kovar, I don't think being our No 2 is what he needed.
Kovar, I assume, has a buy back clause and will be getting first team minutes week in week out as a No 1...which is what he needs at this stage of his development.
I'd rather see him getting 2 or 3 years of that rather than warming the bench here.
If he develops well, he will be back.

Why didn't we try DDG as a backup ? I mean he never wanted to be backup when the window started but he hasn't had any offers since then . So did we try again ? Not a huge DDG fan but certainly as a backup he isn't a bad option?
