I thought he played a lot less test matches, really sad he never got a full career at test level the game missed out.

And yeah the bowler pool is running thin.

If anybody needs to leave picks i'll be around for a while.
 
I considered Pollock but I was worried about older pre 70s players getting slammed or voters not knowing much about him. Had to sell fecking Jack Hobbs the last time ffs.

The man's comparable to Don Bradman of all.

Purposefully ignored him, but he was the guy I was hesitating over v Hayden. Issue was he plays in some position as someone like Lara/Tendulkar and reinforecement wise, would be an issue. You have to stick with him all draft.. some would argue he is that good that is worth it, but those guys are incomparable and have the long career to back it up.

Hes not Lara or Sachin, but final worthy in his own right. Same tier as Greg Chappell in my opinion. One of the most ruthless dominant batsmen you can have.

Yeah, I would agree. Just wasn't sure how the rest would see it.
 
Have some doubt. Do we have those scenarios where the matches will be played in different conditions and all or will the teams just be judged on who has the best team and all?
 
I wanted another fast bowler but if I'd gone for a batsman it would have been him. His record was world class.
