Danny missed on the initial list then overlooked despite being nr 1 on the reserves list. Lel.
@Skizzo just making sure, PM is required? or the tagging is enough?

I have such a hard time deciding whether I think he was better for Madrid or United. He was a lot more unplayable when he was here and he was still really good defensively which SAF made sure. But that ruthless consistency and efficiency for Madrid in terms of goalscoring is just magical(or rather robotic) too.
A lot of people forget just how great of a dribbler and a creator he was for United when comparing him to the all-time greats.

Yeah watching that clip again made me realize just how good a dribbler he was with the ball at his feet. In terms of pure goal scoring, his Madrid self is in a league of its own...but in terms of being just purely unplayable at times, and a damn good time to watch, I think his United time stands alone.
I agree with that he was better for a few seasons. But Henry offers complete tactical flexibility more or less, he can play next to another striker, a second striker, as a lone striker or even on the left and his dribbling is something that is hard to replace in this draft in particular.

You have the highest goalscorer in the PL, great for two clubs, both of which aren't any of the big ones...so he's definitely a great pick in that regard.
I give you more credit, actually, for being able to pass on Ronaldo or Henry
Henry as a lone striker has never been that good. In a PL draft, Henry's gotta have the free role and the rest of the team built around him.
Henry played well for Arsenal in a lone striker role too. I agree that he needs a free and a key role, but whether he starts from the left forward or centrally doesn't matter. He'll play the same type of game anyhow and he'll occupy the same sort of areas. He also functions great with more or less any type of central forward with him and he's not someone who you will struggle to build the team around.
There isn't a blueprint of a tactic that you strictly have to follow when it comes to him.
