Not that anyone can say no to Sachin, but if our positions were reversed, I'd have gone for Viv straight away. But then thanks to @The Man Himself we both got what we desired.
Going by the picks till now, I think the draft is quite skewed to modern ODI with emphasis on big hitters. So no wonder couple of (not really) old time greats slipped through. I think I may need to do a bit of selling for Hadlee and Jones, but then happy with the picks overall.
Edit: And I really hope we don't end up facing each other in 1st round.
You don't need to sell el to me. Dean Jones was revolutionary in ODIs, and Hadlee was as good a ODI bowler as he was in tests. I was hoping nobody would care for them and they would slip to me
The point of the AM's is to deal with this type of situations only. Every other team has got an AM in this draft and yet the speed has been very slow.
Hadlee and Jones won't require much selling at all.
After much deliberation, discussion, drama, and arguing to and fro, @RedTiger and I have come to a decision....
