All ticket/travel information thread - 2024/25 edition - Ticket Purchasing FAQ in OP. Please read it and be careful purchasing tickets

Just wondering… has anyone with a ticket for Arsenal away this weekend received it in the post yet? Still waiting on mine, as are my mates.
Yeah ballot tickets were sent yesterday, most have arrived today I think.

I have this silly idea to come to Manchester for a birthday trip to see Southampton game. Thing is, a flight I would be on lands at 6:05 pm, and the game kicks off at 8 pm - I would need to still drop my bags at the hotel before traveling to OT (preferably a walk down the canals).

Would I get there in time for the game? Presuming I'd book a hotel near Piccadilly and there would be no delays so I'd be able to leave the airport at about 6:30 to 6:45 pm. I've been in Manchester a dozen times but always arrived a day or two before game.
If I was you mate. I'd either find someone give you a lift or get a taxi and find a hotel on that route. That they can take u to the hotel on route drop the bags and get dropped at the game. Alternatively you can get trains into town that only takes 15 minutes direct from the airport. Then it's like 20-30 minutes on the met from there. You'll be cutting it v short but definitely possible

Just seeing if there is a pair (or even more) for Brighton? Let me know. Cheers

Just a message to vouch for redrudders and to note the seats are really good for anyone interested :+1:

Possibly a long shot, but if anyone has 1 or 2 tickets for Arsenal in the FA cup this Sunday, please DM me!

You can get the tram directly from the airport to the ground. Hotel near the airport might be an option or use the bag drop at the ground and go to the hotel after the game??

It’s about an hour from A to B but I don’t see any way that you get to the city centre and back out again at that time of night

Anyone can hook me up with 2 tickets for Brighton. Be really appreciated and will sort out all logistics etc. please pm.

@aidy85 had a flight due into Manchester at 5.30pm on the evening of the Newcastle game. Maybe he can give you some recent experience of what it’s like coming through the airport that close to kick off.

Think he may have had a delay too.

Ibis Budget, AC Marriott, Holiday Inn and Copthorne Hotel all within walking distance (discounting the premier inn, cricket ground and hotel football as they are usually fully booked or mad money on match days).

Have a day off in Manchester feb 1st and thought I’d check out Fcuom at Broadhurst Park. Watched them at Gigg Lane years ago and quite enjoyed that, but is there any hype around that club still?
Wrong thread perhaps, but couldn’t find anything on Fcuom elsewhere.

Pretty sure there's still a big following of them. Don't see much about them any more though. I seen them at gigg lane too but that was against my local team and that's why I was there

Crowds are down on what they were but they are still well supported for the level they play at.

Just need clarification if anyone knows.

As a season ticket holder I know I need to use my ticket 15 games out of the 19 home games. If I can't go to a game I have options of selling back to the club, donating to the MU foundation or forwarding to a member.

If I was to forward to a non member then does that still count as one of my 15 games?

Any reason why there isn't an option to sell a ticket for the Southampton game back to the club?

The Club have switched the option off as there are a lot of tickets floating around. They may switch it back on, or may not.

There is still the donate option, which you can use and it won’t go against you / count as non-attendance.

Thanks for this. Must have missed them informing us that resale wasn't an option for this game.

We are planning to visit Manchester from January 22nd to 27th. Are there any more or less reliable sites for buying tickets? (Without membership and other things).

Get a taxi / tram to Old Trafford
Use the bag drop at OT for £5
Collect bag after the game and check into hotel.

I've got two tickets for Southampton in Stretford End upper. Next to each other one in front of other. Row 27/28.

Dm me if you're interested, I'll take 35 each.

And will only accept PayPal

Yes, as long as they attend

Sorry for the bump. But does anybody know when the schedule for may will be ready? Me and a few friends from Iceland are thinking of attending the game against West Ham in gameweek 36. Just wondering if the game will be on saturday, sunday or even monday?

It would usually be towards the end of March. I would also be careful as it may get announced as a 3pm on the Saturday but there is a Europa League semi final 2nd leg the Thursday before, so if by a miracle we reach that stage, it will be moved (likely to Sunday 2pm) after it has been advertised as a Saturday.

Cheers for that, I have nothing better to do that day so I’ll give it a go.

It was an option and it’s safe to say the first few hundred ST holders that put their tickets up for sale, sold them.

The club get to pick and chose when to turn the option on. When they have their own general sale tickets to shift, they want the money for them before they will reimburse you for your ticket.

Something for the FAB / MUST etc.. to take up with the club, is that fact that there are not many seat pairs available for any games.

Priority should be given, and a resale option should be always open, for those selling pairs.

The way it works when you send to a member, is that you have met your obligation (when transferring), if the member doesn’t use the ticket, they are forbidden to receive anymore for the season (de facto ban).

I know the question was about transferring to non-member. Is that the option that costs a tenner?

Not a lot the club can do to a non-member. Assume that me what you’re saying, it gets put back onto the ST holder.
