It's a bit weird how the non-PL games are now not loaded on to the season ticket like they used to be. My Google wallet is going to be a mess this year I feel

Looks like the champions league game isn't even loaded onto the one united card.

So now you said about non-PL games, I wonder, do PL games go onto the one united card, or is that just used as a sign you've signed up, for club shop discounts and suchlike?

Possibly mate, the proof will be in the pudding when your game comes round.

Another weird thing though is that the two away games I've had have had paper tickets. Surely all the grounds would have digital ticketing?

you must be joking!!!!

Southampton couldn’t even deal with paper tickets!!!

Even Wycombe have started with electronic ticketing in league 1, but I wonder if all clubs still send away tickets on paper?
Do United?

The Villarreal game has a separate pass for the wallet, but I'll see what happens with any league game down the line.

Hello - this is my first year buying match tickets and your advice will be greatly appreciated.

1) Have most of the Premier League home game tickets (excl. the Big 6) been sold out as part of the initial sale? Just trying to understand if most tickets are sold at the time of initial sale or sold a month before the game?

2) What's the best way to find out when tickets are on sale so I can try to buy them sooner?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Anyone know what’s going on with Euro away tickets? Are we even getting an allocation for the games?

1) Liverpool, city, Chelsea will go to a ballot. The rest will drop throughout the year, they haven't sold out. Some would have gone in initial sale but plenty have been held back. A month, 2 weeks, Sunday at 6am....who knows when they drop but all in the same boat in that respect. The demand is very high though, think we signed someone quite good.

2) This is the tough part, nobody really knows. As evidenced by the villareal tickets the other night, United are pretty random. You can register interest and subsequently United send email alerts. I have that on and a few whatsapp groups, I'll keep an eye on here.

. I've picked up Liverpool, city etc all in the week of the game and you'd be surprised how many are held back. Even Leeds had loads but the game has changed with Ronald back.

I’m a member this season and would like to get my mum a ticket at some point - if I buy the ticket under my membership am I allowed to forward the ticket without any issue?

Perfect - thanks. Would I just forward the email I get from United and add it to her wallet?

As far as I know, this is an option but you would run the risk of her being asked for
ID at the turnstile. I would suggest that this is highly unlikely under any circumstances unless you have a concession ticket and the stewards decide to ask.

If there are no ID checks, then yes, you can just forward the e-Mail and add the ticket to the wallet of whoever you send the e-mail to.

alternatively, you can forward tickets ‘relatively’ easily through the website.

If you can get your Mum another free membership, it’s really easy to forward on

Odd singles are coming up elsewhere and disappearing though, so not sure what's going on with those.

Ah yes, one has appeared for £58 in S122

Get this message in the basket though

" Please see the additional information above, and reassign tickets to match the sales criteria detailed.
Sorry, ticket sales for Manchester United v Newcastle United 11/09/2021 15:00 are limited - please read the additional information above. "

(there is no info above, aside from about membership, which I have)

No idea what is happening - assume online purchases have been closed (hence there is no buy tickets button to get to the page ... but clearly there is some movement!)

I got excited for a moment, doing a similar link for Liverpool, seeing loads of tickets, and thinking I was some sort of genius breaking the code,a nd ready to fill my boots.

Then erm..realised they're clearly not available yet :wenger: :o

Then realised same deal for Newcastle.

I'm trying to resist the temptation for Newcastle, as my boys Wycombe have a game 30mins away, so I should probably leave it be until another game :)

It doesn’t look good for away European games does it , no announcement with just over 9 days to the 1st away game baring in mind people have work to book off and arrange flights etc .

Pretty sure some one said earlier, there is an announcement this week on away games from UEFA. Still not the best idea but I'm sure the reason is to give it as much time as possible to give it the best chance for it to go ahead, data and vaccines and all that jazz!

Getting really frustrated with uefa. I’m desperate to go to bern but will be driving so want to drive down on Sunday 12th. I only have 1 credit so no guarantee I’ll get a ticket but just wish I could make plans

Currently have 3 tickets for Newcastle which have disappeared into thin air after forwarding - same thing happened with Leeds. Hopefully the club might use some CR7 commercialisation cash to improve our ticketing operations since they're an absolute joke at the moment. I better contact the club now since they take around a week to respond.

Anybody know if tickets will be released via the membership for the Newcastle game? Only option available for all home games is to register interest and signup for email alerts - did this change over the past few years? I seem to remember it being different previously when I was last living back in UK.

They're either sold out (Newcastle) or not all been released yet, if they were available you'd get the option to purchase instead of register interest like it shows on the cup game vs West Ham.

Thanks for that. Seems odd that every home game in the league is showing as 'register interest' only - I seem to recall tickets being released periodically as the season went on. I'll keep my eyes peeled for tickets becoming available.

I know a few guys at United, there will be tickets for Newcastle appearing on the website this week. Can’t confirm when but likely tomorrow/weds. Won’t be many and could be at random times. Dont rely on emails, keep checking the site

That's the big question no-one knows pal.

Expectation was that all games would still have a batch of tickets released after the initial "sold out" message, and that happened for the champions league Villarreal game, but even those went within 2 hours. There wasn't any sort of notification sent out either I don't think either, just pure lotto to have seen someone mention them on here.

Time is ticking on for the Newcastle game now, so it'll either be a late random release, or a worrying sign for league games for the rest of the season!

Perfect, thanks for the heads up. I'll keep the tickets page up whilst I'm at work and pray I hit refresh at the right time.

it appears i can now forward my Villarreal ticket - but i have the fear after reading all the posts!

Tantalising, but can't move any of the tickets through to confirmation

Still the case for me though more tickets are appearing and others disappearing.

Hadn't seen this pre my post, but good to know this will happen throughout the season (even though I can't make this one :) ).

They all arrived around an hour after forwarding in the end so perhaps the system was just slow...And to be fair, I got a response from the ticket office via email within 3 hours which was a nice surprise and they had already arrived by then.

If you need to forward any tickets, I would get them done sooner rather than later so you have enough time to resolve any issues if required. Good luck!

No point refreshing like that until the "Buy" logo is up.
You can do similar for future games like Liverpool by tweaking the name and date in the address, but just frustrating ourselves doing it.

yeah it’s very annoying. I will be fine for credits but it’s getting close to arrange flights etc
