I think the Wolves match is particularly tough - three games in 9 days, 2 of them midweek is heavy going. I doubt the Burnley midweek match is going to be in demand either.

Fa cup games are a double edged sword aren't they.
Glad it's away and you don't have to buy it, then that sinking feeling late on in the game when you realise it's heading to a replay...and with only ten days notice. And midweek!!

Where do you sit? Stretford End? Seems a bit odd

Yeah ST2, hence why the email confused me. Have been on the phone to the TO this morning but on hold for 15 minutes, let's see if this call back facility works.

Not got anything myself, so I trust they are still on the cards.
It'd be typical United to do it so late and send it to arrive Wed morning....when I won't be at home!

Hi quick question,
I'm going to the Liverpool game on Sunday. How easy is it to get away from the ground and do they keep away supporters in the ground, for a time, after the game has finished? I have a train to catch at 18:47 from Liverpool Lime street. Otherwise I drive.
Cheers

I am not convinced you'd make that train if I am honest... they may hold us back for a little bit, but even if they didn't... it'd be a stretch to make that train anyway unless you left the match early. Traffic will be awful and the station is a good couple of miles away. Last time I ended up hopping off the bus back to Lime Street because it wasn't going anywhere and it was faster to go on foot.

Thanks its what I'm thinking anyway.

I'm actually massively weighing up my season tickets at the end of this season.
This Jan has been a nightmare, and that's with opting out of the league cup.

I think I've just about got away with it for the three games but it was a close one.

So are we after 12 years, and I think many others are. The club has become a joke on and off the pitch, and it is a very expensive hobby.

When you factor in parking at 10 quid a game, £950 x 2 tickets, 5 quid a Heineken, all to watch Lingard and Jones, you have to wonder what the hell has happened.... and then to be forced to pay 100 quid to watch Wolves...

The FA Cup can be a real killer.
You "get way" with getting an away draw, but then the replay being 10days later, and midweek, makes it an even tougher ask!

I’ve had two STs for over 10 years but am finding it increasingly difficult to shift the second ticket especially for midweek matches so am seriously considering dropping the second card next season.

We are considering dropping both our tickets, and it will pain us to do so (we have great seats) as we enjoy (less so now) going to games, but it is just not worth it anymore. This is the first season in over a decade where we have just decided not to go to some matches because we have better things to do than sit through that dross, and save £10 on parking doing so.

At the end of the first Wolves game I was pleading for EITHER team to score, so we wouldn't have to pay for the replay, which is not ideal, and I think it's time to knock it on the head.

Two tickets available for Burnley game next Wednesday. Hard to imagine this appealing to anyone but stranger things have happened so let me know!

I'm thinking not renewing too like most of you guys. I found it difficult to go to most games with my new working hours and reduced salary means paying for it in one go and then the travel, food etc will be difficult.

Do they still do the monthly payment option?

I'm sure i'll still pick up the odd single here and there next season.

I know there is a ton of spares about but if anyone needs a pair for tonight then PM me - less than FV at this point

Do you go to all the games on your main card?
If not, I suppose the big problem is no one really wants to go on their own? The pair sweetens it for passing on usually.

This is worrying to hear, especially as you're local!

My arrangement is I'll do about 8-10 games myself, and pass to pals for the rest.
That's worked well for many years - even those champions league seasons with awkward midweek/weekend mixes.

This year, for different reasons, yesterday was only my 3rd game, by mid Jan. So if i'm not even going to many myself, it's becoming more awkward!
Both myself and my northern work pal who is huge in the arrangement now have jobs travelling a bit more, so i'll use the next few months to weigh it all up!!

January has been a horrible mix of a lot of games packed in close together, and fairly underwhelming ones too...hopefully just a one off!

Pending no more FA cup games though, there's just 6 more weekend league games to sort post Wolves in the league....and all nicely balanced out! Phew.

I have never seen such apathy towards United games, unless things buck up there will be a lot not renewing next season.

ye has been a difficult run of games at the worst time of year as well - really didnt need that replay

to make things every more difficult for the regular matchgoers, the other cup game being postponed gives only 3 days notice of whether we play Tranmere or Watford next week !

Yeah that Thursday game is weird.
Thank goodness the outcome is an away at least.
But then we'll play the "please win or lose on the day" game!
Then the 5th round is midweek! It stays tough.

Brugge away allocation is 1470 plus the 200 higher category requirement. So expect the cut off to be around 5 credits.

Does anyone know when the date for our City at home fixture (currently scheduled Saturday 7 March at 1500) will be confirmed? I've got a ticket and booked a (cheap) Sunday return flight but I assume that the game will be pushed to Sunday 8th.

It was down as Jan 24th for the March confirmations, so hopefully keeps in line with that.

Any ST holders have any experience of relocating seats?
I'm in the NE quadrant 2nd tier but really keen to try and get literally anywhere else for next year.

They've been basically rejecting all requests for seat relocations for the past couple of years. Except for those fans who get moved because of United themselves and ground changes like the wheelchair spaces and the rearrangement of hospitality areas. The fans who have to move basically (understandably) get preference for any possible moves and then for "better" moves the following season.

They do say that next season will be different - as they don't have as many enforced moves - so they will listen to general requests at the end of the season (I guess at renewal time?). No guarantees, but if you really aren't fussy about where, I think they'll listen.

I think that there will be quite a lot of availability next season, a lot of people I know have season tickets but can’t get to all the games especially midweek cup and league games and due to the cup scheme , the ridiculous pricing in place for such games and of course the quality of football on show they won’t be renewing . In the past they have been able to offload to friends and sites like this. But recently there has been no interest. The fact that we had 3000 unsold tickets in a cup semi final v City says it all and someone on here had to sell 4 of his tickets at £10 each for a game and therefore losing about £100, great for the buyer but not so for him.
