All ticket/travel information thread - 2019/20 edition - Touting will not be tolerated on the site

Thanks for the reply. I will give it a go anyway. Its my first ever away euro game so really looking forward to it.

I never got a response from the club for my Alkmaar application.... Very odd. I wasn't expecting a ticket but still, no response at all is weird.

Hoping to find a couple of tickets to treat my nephew to a game for his Birthday in November. I don’t mind if the game is December would be great to get 2 for Spurs. If anybody does have anything going spare do me please, cheers.

I have 2 exec tickets available in the Bobby Charlton Stand for all three Europa group stage games. I am not looking for any payment, preferably going to someone who doesn't get to go to OT as often as they'd like due to the cost, if ever.

Please let me know if any of you would like them and for which match.

I go quite a bit but would love to go to one!

Where is the new singing section? Has it been moved nearer the stretford end?

I’ve not been this year yet due to work. But I always try to get close to singing section if I can!

The new 'atmosphere section' is in the first tier of the Stretford End in blocks W206 and W207.

I'm in W201 on the other side and look over in envy as they get to stand up all game and sing. Where I'm sat, if you stand up people get whiny. It does my head in.

Upper Stretford End have been allowed to for donkeys. Makes so much of a difference

Just out of interest, what's stopping you joining mate? I did and it's ace... and you get cheaper beer on the concourse!

If you have one free for this Thurs that would be great, but no worries if they've already gone!

How much cheaper  is it only season ticket holders? Over in Ireland so get mine through local supporters club so its their season tickets or directly through United, usually try get J Stand or Tier 2 Stretford end when buying off United

Hello everyone,

I have a question, if someone can help. We are traveling from Croatia to Spurs game at Old Trafford. Since the match against Villa takes place on 1st December, Spurs game will be rescheduled also. I was looking at probable new dates for the match, but I can't find any that looks fit. Does anybody know from their experience when cca should this match take place? We would like to book hotel and plane soonest possible. I know that they will announce the date on October 11, but if we can just have an idea of possible new date it will be helpful. Thank you.

It's not only ST holders... if you have a ticket to the match, you can apply through the Red Army to go in their section of the ground and if successful, they will move your ticket/seat to that section. For league matches it has been on the right hand side of the Stretford End lower tier, but we had L stand last night for Astana. The atmosphere there has been really good this season... it was even bouncing in L stand last night for Astana with pretty much non-stop singing until well after the final whistle.

For league matches we have been paying £3 a pint on the concourse.

It was awesome last night. Fair play to TRA for sorting it. Only downside is I can't get the Tuanzebe song out of my head this morning

It was ace! Makes a massive difference... Thursday night football against Astana and still had a blast even though the football was poor.

Think I sang that Tuanzebe song half the way home. Catchiest song we've had in ages.

I just haven't got around to doing it yet, but it's something I definitely want to do going forward.

Don't want to derail the thread, but there are a lot of people sat around me in W201 who are a huge part of the problem at Old Trafford.

Are we expecting some tv fixture moves today then?

Looks like Villa is now confirmed for Sunday @ 4.30 on the 1st Dec (has been changed on United's site to this time, was TBC a few days back). With that in mind I am on the hunt for a pair if anyone can't make it?

Anyone else booked the day trip to Belgrade through TC? Slightly worried about the news that TC are facing administration if they don't raise fund quickly.

Have they changed away returns? apparently you can just log in to ticketing online and buy them!

Yeah if you were unsuccessful in the original ballot you could have bought West Ham online yesterday. I didn't see this communicated at all mind, managed to still buy one at about 11pm last night

I got no email from Alkmaar or Partizan, not sure what’s going on with TO this season.

No demand I’m guessing because Wembley is gone it’s now the worst ground in the PL to watch a game in/create atmosphere.

Long shot but does anyone have a spare ticket going for West Ham game tomorrow? Have a ST but can’t apply for domestic aways.

Thanks.

No demand? It sold out and was oversubscribed just like every other away game. They've just changed the way they issue returns.

You are right on the second part though, horrendous ground.

You could have bought online yesterday if you were unsuccessful in 1st ballot ? I understand that as in they were tickets returned from 1st ballot and it was 1st come 1st served ?

Yes, for ST's. Returns were always first come, first served on the phones. There are never many (usually players allocations etc), they've just changed the way they do them now.

There's no drop in demand was my point.

Hi,I moved near Southampton/UK recently. I was looking for 1 Arsenal ticket for Monday. ( this is my first post, been a long time lurker of red cafe). If I don’t get ticket here, what is alternate way to get ticket?

Not sure it was because we are split over two tiers but that atmosphere was shite today.

Anyone booked ever booked any Utd trips via Thomas Cook? I'm assuming their demise means United will work with another travel agent?

They've not been sending out the emails for away ballots this season. I like to see the statistic on how many and what percentage were successful. They don't put as much detail on the website.

I have been getting confirmation by text message only but you can usually find out from between 11am - 1pm because it will appear as a pending transaction on your online banking around then or it will be show in your account transactions on the Eticketing website.

You used to also be able to call the ticket office's automated service and check that way but that seems to have stopped this season too.

According to the minutes of the Fans' Forum Meeting that took place before the Leicester match, Sam Kelleher said, "We have received feedback around the outbound call process, and for the game against West Ham next we are trialing selling any 'returned tickets' through the website with notifications being sent by text message which until the recent ticketing system upgrade hasn't been possible."

I wouldn't have received a text because I was successful in the ballot, however neither my Uncle nor Dad received one. Just have to keep an eye on the website around a week before the match.

According to United's website:

"We were sad to hear the news this morning regarding Thomas Cook and the impact this will have on its customers and employees. Along with other Premier League clubs, Thomas Cook Sports have been travel partners with Manchester United. They have pre-sold a small number of tickets and hospitality for some home matches this season, along with travel packages to to two upcoming UEFA Europa League away games. As soon as we were aware of their potential insolvency, we started to work through contingency plans and we will endeavour to contact affected Manchester United fans who had booked direct via Thomas Cook."
