All ticket/travel information thread - 2019/20 edition - Touting will not be tolerated on the site

The club website is absolutely dreadful when it comes to trying to purchase tickets.

If it doesn't appear in your account, or a charge on your statement it is probably a bad sign. There were 24,000 applications. You can learn your fate by ringing the ticket office and listening to your result.

Unsuccessful too but I have the away game which was a robbery so I’m not too bothered.

I'm from Amsterdam and currently studying in Sheffield. I have already been to Manchester but have not visited Old Trafford yet. Been following united during the Van der Sar era, but afterwards I did not follow them that much. Last couple of years they gained my interest again, partly because of Louis van Gaal.

It's my last week here and I would love to visit Manchester United - Burnley with a friend since we both like Manchester United. There are only some single tickets left on the official website so we're looking here for 2 tickets next to each other.

Ring the ticket office they might be able to get 2 together.

No march tv moves yet?
Presumably waiting for the fa cup games first?
Although unless both us and city go out this round they'll have to risk the derby actually taking place on the date they move it to

2 available for Burnley, in north east.tickets available for pick up in Manchester.PM if interested.

Couple in the Stretty for any home game (preferably big ones obviously) after Burnley would be much welcomed.

Piss take moving the FA cup game to a Monday night.

They'll justify pushing it back because Chelsea are away to Malmo the Thursday before, but it's a real pain in the neck move for away fans. 7:30 kickoff as well - it's been a while since I saw one of those.

Unsuccessful in the Liverpool ballot as well as PSG now. Is there a particular price band that gives you a better chance at all?
I usually just choose A and B.

Same here unfortunately! :(

Still looking for 2/3 tickets for Southampton. Please PM me if you have tickets available.

I’ve always wanted to know this myself. I usually choose A and B as well.

Snap, but E,F,H,I I vary between (so Stretty or East, basically) .... and only ever apply as a single too.... so surprised not to get any ballot game (yet) this season.

I've applied for about 10 of the last applications over the last few seasons and have never been successful. I've only applied for A and B. Have also applied for 2 seats with one of my mates so there's probably a lesson in all of that.

Obviously it makes financial sense for United to have as many members as possible but I have found being a member for the last seven seasons very frustrating.

Like the last few posters, I have also been unsuccessful in the PSG and Liverpool ballots. And also unsuccessful in all of the other previous ballots for 'big' games. Makes me wonder why I bother sometimes as unless it's midweek against a 'small' team it seems almost impossible to get tickets.

I have memberships for me and my wee boy - and PSG or Liverpool tickets would have been a perfect birthday present for him but it now looks as though we won't get to go to any games at all this season, having only been able to get tickets for one game last season. The odds just seem stacked against members getting tickets.

It was better in the Viagogo days, as at least you were guaranteed a ticket that way, and if you had the patience to sit refreshing for hours, you'd invariably find a big game ticket come up

So poor that the club still haven't set up an exchange service for season ticket holders since that. Every other big club in the PL have it, and City too. Then they even have the cheek to ban holders for selling to face value onto other fans. Pathetic.

As a member it’s been possible to get any home game this season without a ballot except for Juve! I know spurs was on sale to members and I’ve a feeling arsenal went that way as well.

You can’t be expecting to just apply for Liverpool and PSG and hope to come out of a ballot with maybe up to 25000 applications for something like 4000 tickets.

Viagogo was great ! Pressing the refresh button constant waiting for a ticket to show up :D

The problem you have if you just apply for the big games is the monster that’s called Thomas Cook as they syphon off a lot more tickets than say Burnley at home on a Tuesday night, you pay greatly exorbitant prices for a hotel room , a nice meal nearby ( like the cricket ground ) and get a seat in East stand Tier 2 , you work it out, or preferably an overnight in a Travelodge for £50 a nice chippy meal at Macaris, a couple of cans of ale from next doors offy and a £42 seat, Thomas Cook about £250, the better option £100 all in

Anyone received a response regarding the Chelsea FA Cup game ballot? Would normally hear back by now...

Looking for a ticket for the Southampton game , if anyone is selling any then please PM

Plenty of tickets available for PSG, for members - just got a pair for my brothers online.

Ffs, I made plans workwise and socially since my unsuccessful ballot which means I can't make the PSG if I wanted to now.

Any Execs who have got Chelsea away? Nothing showing on mine or my mate's account

gutted! I’d been checking the ticket website religiously (after not being successful in ballot) about 20times a day! Hoping they would release more tickets. Checked around lunchtime...no PSG available, busy at work so couldn’t check again until 4 and tickets and tickets had been released and already by that time all sold out!

If by any chance someone has two tickets and somehow finds themselves unable to go I’ll be more than happy to take the tickets off your hands! ...long shot I know, but a long shot I’d better than no shot!

Also like everyone else I have never been successful in a ballot! They need to sort out a ticket exchange!

Yep.
I remember getting Liverpool and Chelsea through that.
£75 and had to go on my own, but still worth it.

One year I actually got one for Liverpool through the ballot, and one through viagogo. I was such a legend I let my pal have the face value one, not the viagogo tax one! And it was a better view!
