Yes your bang on, I think what the person who told me means is that they won't sell their entire allocation.

Hmmm... I get you. They are definitely wrong though and they'll sell the allocation easily. Their average home attendance is about 24k this season so an extra 4k is absolutely nothing for an FA Cup Final.

Since the new Wembley opened we've had Millwall take almost 50,000 fans for a JPT final and Bristol Rovers take 40,000 for a league 2 final. It's bonkers really when you consider their average attendances.

New just in. I've just received a reply to a tweet I sent to the FA this morning about ticket allocation. It says:

"The allocation has been increased by 6,300 tickets across the two clubs"

So 3150 each? Though we could use 6,300! It's something though!

great news - so assuming that all goes to ST holders, that should cover everyone with 10credits who missed out and maybe even a few 9/10 get lucky

I think they mean it's increased that much compared to last year, rather than they've just released a load more. Hope I'm wrong though.

Yep, you're right. The Daily Mail article talks about the 25k allocation last year, so this years 28k would be 3000 x 2 for both clubs.

b*ll*cks

Well I guess we will see but id expect some MUFC in their end by hook or by crook. Even if they had 1000 they couldnt sell would be a big help for the 10s

I've been unable to make a lot of games this year due to work, I've been in the exact same position to you, live about 140 miles and can't give away my tickets for free, people just don't want to pay for anything nowadays and when you throw in about £40 for petrol, £7 for parking etc people couldn't be less interested. Never had any trouble in the past selling a ticket for FV.

Palace was a really hard shift. A mix of a sh!T season, a midweeker, a few games either side, including the semi, and also re-arranged! Nightmare. In the end I had to shift to a stranger on a local FB group, which involved an exchange the day before! Was sweating a little!

I can't even imagine what league cup games v lower leaguers are like. When only 45,000/50,000 are even in the ground!

All In though, a 3rd successful season of managing games gone to and games shifted.
Just have Bournemouth to deal with. If we win on Saturday and City don't win their game it's looking tasty.
If any other outcome I'll look to shift. Not a fan at all of dead rubbers.

What are the chances of picking up a ticket outside Wembley on the day and what price are they likely to be going for, if there are any available?

Chances - slim I would say as there will be quite a lot of people doing that but you have to be in it to win it so to speak.

Price - I'd say you'd do well to get one for £100 considering Cat A seats are £115 face.

Couple of long shots, but. West Ham away or FA Cup final. If anyone needs to sell a ticket or two, let me know, even if it's as late as the day of the game.

Had to recheck the guy's post...who suggested £100?

£100 would be a steal for this one unfortunately!

I saw someone on FB selling a pair in the Everton end for the semi at £320!!

Hang around the disabled entrance, the door might swing open again

Half expecting someone to talk about Jibbing...which I struggle to believe ever happens! There's stewards watching for it!
Having said that, once you're in, I've never seen less stewards per fan at a ground than Wembley, so you'd easily be able to disguise having got in without a designated seat!

Like I said earlier in the thread, I paid £300 a ticket for the Milwall final 12 years ago so expect to be paying £500 upwards I reckon. Or you could just jib in like these guys:

I did say you would do well to get one for £100, hence more realistic is around the £200-£250 (depending on Cat) mark on the day I would say but that's me guesstimating.

Sticking by RC rules and not condoning touting myself but I know of people selling for around £450 at the moment so you would be getting proper shafted to pay £500+ on the day. Prices tend to come down as games gets closer as people are more worried about selling.

There seems to be a load of spares flying around on twitter, for thost that may be interested

Re: FA Cup final.

Got my fingers crossed for ballot #2, but not that confident (despite max cup credits)

Someone highlighted this on twitter: http://www.ticketbisevents.com/en/manchester-united-v-crystal-palace-fa-cup-final-tickets/ev86678

What a disgrace. Is that a rip-off site scamming with no tickets or is it a legit site selling neutral tickets? Either way it's totally out of order.

I've flagged it up to the FA as possibly a scam.

EDIT: Seems it's a legit P2P ticket site. A shocking number going for sale on there. IF anyone pays that, it's lots of fans getting fleeced due to the FA creating even more scarcity than there need be. Always been the same story though.

Two together available for Bournemouth at home. PM if interested. Ta

Any non 10/10 applicants who were successful managed to get a ticket to the Cup Final yet? Lowest I am seeing them online for is £550 and that's not even in the United end. Absolute joke. Oh well, big lesson learned.

If you applied for West Ham but were unsuccessful you get snag a ticket from ticketing and membership now apparently. My mate just did.

United had over 60 spares yesterday evening but only those who applied and were unsuccessful could buy.

Could try ringing the ticket office now but I think you might have missed the boat.

Anyone have a ticket I can buy off them outside Upton Park this evening? Pls PM me if you know how I can get hold of one, either in West ham or preferably in United end?

I didn't apply in the ballot and I don't have a season ticket, otherwise I would have given that a try. Thanks anyway.

If any tickets do come up, if someone would let me know, I'd appreciate that. I can meet at the ground, or nearby.

Got offered a ticket to the final today...the Conference play off final, while a non United fan got offered corporate job for United v Palace.

Just typical

United are having a second ballot tomorrow, surely all the tickets they've got "spare" are for that? As a person who missed out on 10 credits, I'd be shocked if they're selling them over the phone to non-ballot applicants

I was talking about the west ham game.

Theres about 1300-1600 FA cup tickets for tomorrows second ballot. Bit of a scandal regarding how they got that number, they have hit anyone who paid for multiple applications on one credit card knowing some would have to cancel them (those season cards in family names who wont travel, supporter clubs abroad).

Players also had tickets taken from them they normally give to family and friends and a lot of United staff giving up their tickets.

On that basis those (including me) who were unsuccessful first time round with 10 credits have a higher than 50% chance of getting a ticket this time round. Fingers crossed again!!

Sorry about that! Jumped to a conclusion on that a bit.

How did you find out about the 1300-1600 tickets? I've rung the ticket office to see if they know anything, but the couple of people I spoke to didn't seem to know any clues about any possible ticket numbers.

Got my fingers crossed anyway. Is it results tomorrow?

Will the team turn up??

Apologies just seen this post. Just text me in the future, Sam.

Good news. Hoping I'm lucky in the 2nd ballot.

I know a few folk at the club, but not anyone who's "in the know" with regard to tickets, unfortunately!

No problem and thanks for offer and instruction.

Managed to get a ticket anyways. was quite an experience - just a shame our team was rubbish!

Good luck!

Can be hit and miss sometimes but gets more right than wrong. Fixture dates and times the most useful for me personally get the jump on trains and travel for aways.

Missed out on second ballot and gutted/furious!

Applied with my brother (both with 10/10 credits) and reviewed email saying one applicant in group didn't have 10 credits. Looks like the ticket office are making it up as they go along! Checked bank statements and confirmed ive paid for both tickets for every game.

Anyone else in the same positon or have experience of similar administrative errors by the ticket office?
