Still a bit baffled why Liverpool signed Mamardashvili if Alisson is planning on staying around. He'd be far too good to play second fiddle, and so expected to hear more chat about Alisson leaving at the end of this season

I thought this as well, given he's had some injuries setting in the last few seasons and is now 32 I'd suspected he might be one in line for a Saudi move or something, like Ederson.
I guess this kind of shuts down that talk as he's probably still the best GK in the world. Where that leaves Mamardashvili I don't know. And I'm assuming Kelleher will almost certainly be sold in the summer as well.
Really? Pool have three undisputably current WC players; vvd, Salah and Allisson. TAA has too many weaknesses to his game

Kelleher has been looking for an exit for a while now, and his contract expires next summer so yeah I'm 99.9% sure he's gone this summer.
He and Courtois are a level above the rest of the keepers right now, it's like when Buffon and Neuer were battling it out in the early 2010's. Two very different type of keepers but equally brilliant.
I know people are hyping him up by saying he's the best in the world etc, but shouldn't discount Courtois since he's fantastic himself.

Neuer was good until half time, then Giggs nutmegged him and Rooney put one in right beside his feet. Giggs said they were told at half time to aim low and close to his feet or something like that and it worked.
