Any update on the Espanyol kid Puigmal, who was rumoured to join us this summer, supposedly the 'Jewel' of Espanyol's academy?

Last I heard we had agreed a deal to sign him too.
Yeah he said his goodbyes to Espanyol earlier this month, should be official July 1st, I think. @jb8521 is the man regarding this.

Last time I checked, we don't have a Diarra, a Cisse or neither a Toure. Would take some effort to complete this set.
Poor article. He's not a winger and no idea what gamble could it be on signing an 16 years old on technically free.
Finally we too have a Traore amongst us. Hopefully he'll be the best of the lot and shall become a regular starter for the club.

Did the Espanyol kid become official?
nope. There were a number of "done deal" reports back in May, but it doesn't seem like there's been any news about it since.
I seem to recall some reports about signing a kid from Monaco too ... Badiashile I believe.
Benoit badiashile , he had two years left on his contract so not sure if we could break that and sign him.
Another one was Benfica's Umaro Embalo considered to be one of the best talents at his age group. Hope we can get all these through as all of them come from good youth systems.
Very disappointing we lost deshawn to chelsea, he looks very very good prospect.
Nothing overly special to see there, tall, strong and fast for his age probably, probably a Pogba fan. Hope he proves to be a big talent here.
He'll likely be a player we'll be linked with for a lot more money in about 2/3 years if we don't sign him now.
