Couldn’t see a thread. Season 2 out yesterday and it’s great so far. The games in episodes 2 and 3 are both awesome.
I’d say a better show than Squid Game personally.

Mostly with you, I really enjoyed most of season two.Binged the second season last night and tonight, and really enjoyed it. At times I think that some of the emotional stuff is a bit overwrought, but I think that might be from years of conditioning of watching cynical, nihilistic western stuff expecting every emotional beat to be undermined by some Whedonesque quip.
Enjoyable, a bit tropey at times as Japanese stuff seems to be but not in an off-putting way, think the sincerity of it tends to outdo the cheese factor.
Also, my goodness the girl playing Akane is just ridiculously beautiful.

I do have major gripes though, I think the story needed a lot more time to breathe, the last couple of episodes felt like they just rushed through them.
Also the endingif we take it at face value and they were all just almost dying it just completely removes the stakes from everything we saw before. Unless I misunderstood something. [\spoiler]
Man, now that this is on netflix, what are the hipsters going to like more than Squid game.
It's good except for all the stuff to do with the king of spades.

Just watched the last episode.... Could someone explain wtf went on?
Were they all in comas following the asteroid, then those that chose to remain in the city on completion of the games just died, while those that chose to return woke up? Kind of like an afterlife limbo where people say they see the white light come down? If they failed the games they just died from their injuries? Not sure I like it, as it makes the threat of the games, which felt so real and is a reason I really enjoyed season 1, null and void as there was a wider event going on. Almost as hollow as the "it was just a dream" cliche. Unless I have the wrong end of the stick completely!! Also how the hell did bad guy, girl run through with machine gun pellets and bikini girl survive?!Also....
I was wondering what would happen with the joker (and ace?) Cards. Wonder what that meant - they all think everything is now fine but it isn't?
That’s exactly what happened. I didn’t like it either but I assume it was done just in case they don’t get a third season. It made the whole thing pointless IMO.
All these kind of shows require suspending belief and just enjoying the silly ride. Could certainly pick a lot of holes in it but there’s not much point as it’s all very daft really. I couldn’t even tell you what it is I like about them.I’m 7 episodes in and honestly it’s not a great watch for me, I barely liked Season 1 either.
I think it has this cult following of people who like it & hype it up as an act of rebellion against Squid Games, but overall I think its quite average with worse characters.

Yeah, that was so shit, especially the final fightIt's good except for all the stuff to do with the king of spades.
It's been on Netflix for a while, I remember someone told me about it about a week after I finished watching Squid Game.Man, now that this is on netflix, what are the hipsters going to like more than Squid game.
I watch it dubbed into English as I'm a lazy bastard, I think the English voice actors don't help in this regard as they are fecking wooden as feck.Season two was a bit shite tbf. Think the two main actors just weren't good or had no chemistry
I always do. Just reading bugs the shite out of me.Imagine watching a dubbed version of anything
