I've been holding off from posting here till this gets confirmed, but I'm really over the moon that this signing is happening.

I've seen 2 live games till date, the first was between Barca and Chelsea at Stamford Bridge (CL 2012). I remember coming out of that game and being most impressed with Sanchez and thinking how good he could be in a United team.

Now I'll be able to see it!

Yeah I remember mentioning that.

I thought it was for a post in this thread.

I'm still glad Liverpool beat City. All my mates are City fans and I couldn't bare to listen to them about going unbeaten all year. No chance.

Back To Sanchez.

Is today the day? If this carries on any longer I think I may get sacked from work for constantly checking the caf!
A men. I mentioned it in this thread too.

It's today. I feel it in my waters. Not like I've said that before every day last week or anything. But it's today.

Either that or Chelsea will realise That Crouch is no spring chicken and hijack our hijack. Then I expect Liverpool will come in too. But of course they'll all offer half the wages we did and give him a free dog and he'll go there for honour as we told him he had to get cats instead.

It's happening today at 8pm, because that was my prediction in the other thread.

What's funny is that Sanchez and Mkhi are more suited for United and Arsenal respectively than the opposite, and should have spent the best part of their time playing likewise. Sanchez is tireless, mentally tough and wants to play every minute of every game - a perfect Mourinho player and his winning mindset makes him an ideal United player as well. Mkhi on the other hand is content with where he is, bit of a soft character, mentally fragile -- probably found the worst manager in Jose, he would love Wenger and is perfect for Arsenal.

Switch should have happened earlier, but better late than never.

Safe to say he's signed sealed and delivered.

Just a political game of announcements now with Arsenal. They'll want to try and save as much face as possible.

I'm calling it a late night release similar to the dulcet tones of Fellaini talking in the broom cupboard of Old Trafford at near midnight.

whats the latest Fifa vs Pro Evo wars?

FIFA like Arsenal - with presentation and stadium etc but PES 2018 totally rules this year on the pitch (on and offline). If you have PS4 or PC you can download the kits in 5 mins and enjoy the game. Have traded in FIFA over Xmas and don't regret at all. Game play is just awesome

Are the clubs likely to have agreed a time to both announce at once? Could that be holding things up. As soon as one club announces, since everyone knows what's going on, it's basically making the announcement for the other club too. Or maybe they don't check the internet and neither club thinks anyone's noticed and both are going to play the next matches and expect it to be a surprise.

Funny how Alexis continues to make the cover of the 2 most important newspapers in Chile for like the third day in a row

Can’t post images yet, though. Bummer.

Guess we’re just a bit excited of this to be announced.

Finish work in 5 minutes, then have just a short 25 minute trip home - if this is announced in those 25 minutes i can't say I will be happy - atleast not for a few seconds before getting over it and relising we have Sanche7.

Mhiki was given a tough time by Mourinho. He came to the club and didn't get into the team till 6 months. Don't think he was ever comfortable with Jose's man management.

He is definitely better than Arsenal though! Must be ground hog day for him, having to pin his season's hopes on a EL campaign.

Nice touch for the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson to meet and greet Alexis earlier.

Kind of puts it into perspective when you consider if City were to do something similar they'd have to ask Roberto Mancini to turn out..

'Money or Pep' my arse.

Welcome to the biggest and most successful club in England Mr Sanchez.

That interview was so weird. Like they were trying not to wake someone up.

I hope they don't announce it whilst I'm at gym...need to be watching it on Sky sports news when it's official.

This is possibly the longest, most drawn out, paperwork in the history of football transfers.

Are we now waiting for the Queen to endorse it? Feck me.

That because of marketing and licensing. PES has always been known for the better quality feel and simulation. Anyway, I have derailed this thread enough! I will buy both and see which one Sanchez is better on. I will probably get them within the next 48 hours.

And once you get them withing the next 48 hours, Ea will announce they need another 48 hours to add Sanchez to United.

He just followed our official instagram

This is as close to unofficial confirmation than you can get (next to a leaked photo at Old Trafford and Alexis being pictured meeting Sir Alex, of course!)

I think it's incredibly impressive how the club have managed to keep this deal so quiet. Similar to how the Falcao deal came out of nowhere.
