Alexis Sanchez | Done deal

Arsenal fans obession with Martial is disturbing.
Its not even an issue as in Martial being mismanaged, they were beating themselves up over him since his debut goal.

Arsenal should be targeting Anthony Martial rather than Henrikh Mkhitaryan, says Charlie Nicholas

What is he smoking? Sterling went to City for 50million quid and then he says that Martial is a far better player. He cant tell his elbow from his arse, this fella.
There is definitely something in the water at Sky Sports. Saying that he's closer to Martial's current value than Merson was when he was telling West Ham to sell Mahrez and buy him for £20m. Not by much mind.

70k in relation to everything he’s getting out of this deal is nothing when comparing between playing for City and United. It’s nothing. If me and you are say on average wages in our jobs then £70 would make a massive difference to us. But to him it’s not a deal breaker. He could of easily gone to City to play for Sir Pep peanut head inventor of football and took easy medals straight away. For more or less the same money, when you include the addons and signing on bonus he would of been a very very wealthy man very quickly. He didn’t. He chose United, the timeline fits his decision. In my opinion he chose United over City regardless of money but his agent did what a good agent does, got him his worth. Sanchez, yes, is in the loop knowing how much is being asked but he isn’t demanding certain figures.

Anyway I’m not ignoring your next response, I’m about to take off from Lanzarote and I refuse to pay the exorbitant price for WiFi on Ryan air. :)
At least I’m being morally correct. ;)
That's fair enough! I do think the 70K extra is a massive difference (its a 25% increase in his wage). But agree to disagree! What we CAN agree on is that this notion that he is money grabbing and was dying to play for city and is being a mercenary coming to UTD is a complete load of shit and a lie being perpetuated by the media.

It's a Raiola briefing. First Sky mention the representative side of the deal not being finished, now BBC is focusing on the Mkhi deal.

It's Raiola blabbering all over the journos again.

Sky Italia are the closest to Raiola. Not BBC.

I'm sure there's a good player in Mkhi and it's always a pity when things don't work out at United but to get this deal done would be a huge marker to lay down, considering the big money flops in the past who have left for half their initial fee or even less.

We're shaking off the shambolic nature of the upper echelons and getting good business done (if we get it done :nervous:). The problem with following this deal in every detail is you're at the beckon call of Raiola and what tit bits he chooses to release to his pets in the media.

I swear this thread would be half the size if people checked if a tweet has been posted before they post it themselves, amount of bloody duplicates I've just read through while catching up

Imagine taking out all the ones asking when he has to be registered by, despite it being answered on pretty much every page. (Before the thread title change)

Lol who ever said BBC gets briefed by Raiola?

Sky Italia has good links to Raiola.

Raiola is actively speaking to english journos. He even let a few of them openly quote him this week.

If this was with any other club this deal would have happened 2 or 3 days back itself. Arsenal board dither too much. They went chasing malcom for 2 weeks only to call it off and now are after aubameyang which I won't be surprised if doesn't go through. I hope we have back up option and are ready with 30m cash and get sanchez. Arsenal are dithering too much.

Ballbag next on Sky Sports News for his "Expert" opinion ...

Watch that bitter cnut makes me wanna break my TV.

Haven't we been over this, Charlie?

I think he means £50m plus Sanchez

We all got carried away, remember that Arsenal walked away from £60mil cash in the summer, if they don't get a replacement they could end up keeping him.

Sanchez will then get plenty of offers in the summer, I still think there is a twist in this yet.
All hail king of the doom mongers!

Sky Italia are the only ones with concrete information in this saga. Everything else is pure speculation.

It's irrelevant though, isn't it. It's pretty clear that Martial isn't for sale.

We don't sell our best players to Arsenal, and chances are they don't want to go.

That's why I've been thread marking tweets.

I told people to tag me if there's a significant update so that I can thread mark and people don't have to go through this shite thread to find tweets but nobody listened.

Just buy him outright for 30m and when Arsenal finally wakes up we can sell Mkhi to them for the same price.
We're being punished for Arsenals incompetence here.

Well to be fair, we're also getting Sanchez because of Arsenal's incompetence...

I'd rather not get Sanchez if it meant that Martial was sold. Surely we're not that stupid?

We went over all this a few days ago when it was widely reported Arsenal were looking for Martial in exchange for Sanchez and got firmly slapped down.
