He's completely flopped and earning the most money out of everyone by far. He has no leverage. If he wanted to force a move he could take a pay cut and get a transfer through. I'd be surprised if it's anything other than the club trying to get rid, but failing to get anything other than an embarrassing deal done.
The leverage is that United have to keep paying him but Sanchez doesn’t have to do anything but phone it in on the pitch and be a bit of a moody git around training. I’m sure the club do want to get rid on their terms but not with such a poor deal as seems to be the case, surely?
