Alex Telles - SIGNED for United

OK, did he score all those goals playing as a LB then. I'm curious because he racked up insane scoring stats for a LB.
it was due to the way Fulham were playing at the time. I really think with the right coaching he could be a very good attacking full back a la Trent. It depends on how we play and how we use him. Obviously Spurs and Daniel will not make it easy for us to sign him. I read somewhere that Fulham have asked Spurs to take him on loan this season

Telles is a creative full back, we don't have that at the moment. If he's available for €30m, it's a good fees.

Dalot doesn't seem to hold any future in Ole's plan with the fact that Chong is even playing ahead of him as a full back, Mensah is just not good enough. This means that we only have 3 full backs that we can rely on next season and none of them are creative enough as attacking full back like Telles.

BS news or no, I think €30m is a good price. He's going to turn 28 this year and I think that's perfect age since we have Williams, Bissaka & also Laird. By the time Telles turns to 31 or 32, our young full backs will be ready to step in.

Never trust the Portuguese press. Burned us so many times.

The Portuguese media are at it again as soon as they saw us linked with a Spanish player it seems

To entertain the idea, Telles would be a smart signing but for the money I'd prefer Reguilon strictly due to his age. Telles is much more of the finished product though and would likely displace Shaw upon arrival

That's weird I had a dream we were interested in this fella a couple of nights ago. Spooky.

Good player.

I will try, however, the sources for Telles are shite so in a way maybe I should avoid dreaming about a CB? :wenger:

Yeah this article going out suggests we are getting closer to Reguilon I reckon. Do you think we are right to wait for CB target to come available or should we get someone now

Prefer Reguilón if similar price, DDG needs a friend.

It's a wet dream ffs, don't judge his kinks.
Yeah tonight I’m hoping for a lil Thiago action. :wenger:

Nah I have a ritual of watching YouTube highlights before going to sleep and being the last thing I see before sleep I think that’s affecting my dreams, strangely.

Does seem like we want another left footed fullback though which makes me happy.

Telles would be a great signing, would really give us so much more attacking-wise from full-back. At a good age to move, like when Fernandes moved, he's ready for the next level. Would like to see it.

Think he will be confirmed to Liverpool in the next few days but I am desperate to be proved wrong

Telles or Reguilon? Who would you choose?
As a rotation, that offers something very different to what we have, Telles. As someone who potentially could give Shaw a run for his money, Reguilon.

Telles is a good player but I'd be disappointed if we go for him and Reguilon is available. He'll be 28 in December and Reguilon is 23 with arguably more experience at a higher level (Real Academy, Real first team and Sevilla in a better league + winning Europa). I also think that Sergio has a bit more pace and close control, although Telles does have a great left foot. If he's cheap and it's just another option to Shaw, then fair enough but if we are looking for an exciting prospect for the first team then Reguilon all day.

I love an all out attacking LB. our current fullbacks are too conservative. Get him in!!

The issue with Reguilon is the idea of a buy-back clause and/or his willingness to go back to RM after a couple of seasons. Would be a waste of time and money in that context.
