What Greenwood experiment? He came into the first team because he was better than our other forwards, simple as that. Its like we are repeating the Greenwood experiment.
Too much too soon.
30k per week will be fair. 1.5m pound a year is too much money for a 17 year old.I only hope we give him a new contract on a reasonable figure. He's shown potential at youth level, but nothing at first team level yet, if he makes it into the first team and shows he can cut it then improve the terms to a first team style contract. That said we'll probably offer him £100k a week.

What a stupid thing to say.Its like we are repeating the Greenwood experiment.

He has 1 year left on his contract. What should we do, not give him an extension?
Too much money in the hands of kids so young and immature will change them. Fergie didn't even allow the academy kids to even have coloured boots. Keep them grounded.
£423,000 p/w after tax.How much money are we offering to him?

Who the feck cares? How the feck does he have so many tats at 17? I'm sure the age requirement in the UK is 18?!

If he plays wide left, isn't he competing with Sancho?Sounds great. I also think we should let the kid play, he is good enough to me, and I’d rather see him play than Rashford.
Barca start playing Pedri regularly at 18, and Gavi regularly at 17. If you are good enough, you are old enough. Its like we are repeating the Greenwood experiment.

Maybe as sub/rotation for Sancho? Apparently he won’t be our first choice next season, but giving him game time of 15-20 games is definitely possible. If he plays wide left, isn't he competing with Sancho?
(And I want him to play more too, really rate him)
That'd be fine with me (a good number being non league games). Really like him but the big question for all of the youth players is can they cope with the step up (faster, bigger, more experienced opponents). Hope he does.Maybe as sub/rotation for Sancho? Not a great example as Greenwood quickly became one of our best players when he was promoted to the first team. Its like we are repeating the Greenwood experiment.

He will literally move to Liverpool if we don’t offer him a decent wage mate.Too much money in the hands of kids so young and immature will change them. Fergie didn't even allow the academy kids to even have coloured boots. Keep them grounded.
Not your business, don't be such a prude. How the feck does he have so many tats at 17? I'm sure the age requirement in the UK is 18?!
it's summer, he probably went abroad. He supposedly got some of these tattoo's last week.
Greenwood getting game time early in his career has nothing to do with him being a psychopath. He was a talented footballer and got what he did on merit. Unfortunately he's a sick bastard.
I wasn't referring to game time. But the need to give th such contracts so early. There has to be a way to keep th grounded without having to throw huge contracts at 17y.o kids.
It gets to their head as any 17y.o kid would.
Didn't he just sign a contract?Instead we should allow him to leave for free next summer?
