Aggressive behaviour in the forum

Are we to say we must not say anything offensive? The outcome of that route is no talk at all.

Thats not the what I'm saying...

What I want is that we respect eachother. For example, if I have different wiew from you in some subject then I would not want to see us writing "You stupid c*nt" to eachother. Instead it would be better to discuss in normal way why we see different in some subject.

You can write "Liverpool sucks big D*ck" or to a player and whatever you want and I wouldn't mind but when we talk to eachother here, I hope that we can try to not slam eachother and write those words.

So I would like that we are more human to forum members.

Can you give us some ideas how we should censor this forum?

Will we have a forum left to moderate?

Well, nobody can be the same or think the same but I wonder if there is possabillity for us here to respect eachother?

And as I said before I was warned for writing something nagative about Liverpool FC fans and Hillsbourgh. Why should that be worse then someone calling another memeber for c*nt, d*ckhead and so on? It makes no sence whatsoever.

feck off

Your an idiot, you were warned for a good reason given what you have said, there are certain things you should not take the piss out of.

And if you think you can come on to a football forum (more than likely mainly made up of working class men) and think you can get away with out abuse from other posters than your a fecking idiot.

If your in the pub and make a stupid comment someone will tell you to feck off, same goes here. If your worried about been told to feck off id advise you leave now.

manxmanc you're hitting the lowest common denominator again....i dont know which pubs you go to my friend but strangers dont tell me to feck off in the ones i go to...

People vary in terms of how sensitive they are to being called names, and I think the majority of posters on this board can tolerate being lightheartedly called a spastic, a cnut or told to feck off. In fact I think this actually makes the caf a lot tighter, since it's sort of how you'd tell a mate to feck off if he acts like a spastic cnut. We're all friends (well, net buddies), so a little bit of name calling isn't that bad IMO. But of course there can be an instance where someone will cross the line, and the abusive does become genuinely "aggressive". In that case, I'm sure the mods will act. In jules' case, I don't think the "abuse" levelled at him was aggressive or too serious.

of course mate...and i tell them the same back...but strangers dont tell me to feck off...Small Paul is not my friend/buddy so i dont think he should be telling me to feck off...

to be frank, a lot of the language being used on here is outright aggressive....
Manxmanc saying "feck off you're an idiot".....is that friendly...where's the matey-ness in that....is there anything but aggression there?

Well, this is exactly what I'm talking about.

So saying that The SUN might be right is worse the calling and writing as you did now? Tell me, how is that?

And just so you know that, I'm from working class but that dosen't have to mean that I should not respect other members and start abusing them for what they write. It would be easy for me to write "You son of a b*tch" and "Go f*ck your self" every minute but I believe more in a discussion.

And just so you know this is not a pub.

Sultan
I don't know what to do realy and I have not any idea. But I think if mods can warn and ban people for having a opinion then something should be done against very aggresive words

M160RA
I'm not sensitive but it dosen't look nice. We should not be same as animals form Liverpool Stelares forums.

Increases in moderation would lead to more conflict with posters. I would however add we do take into account constant serious unprovoked abusive attacks.

PS: Do we really want to adopt an abuse-free heavily-modded forum?

To be honest Sultan, a lot of the tension among caf posters is due to the fact noodlehair is allowed to be.

If we got rid of him the caf, nay the world, would be a much happier place.

We ran out of maryland cookies.

No man should be forced to rebel without a constant supply of maryland cookies.

It'll be back, when i do my tescos order.

I want to report Pleachazunga for calling me a spastic!

he did that twice,

and i want to report every poster in the caf for calling me gay

and i want to report that remy is an idiot

right and if a stranger says feck off to me at a pub or match then id have an issue with that..... and it rarely happens so why should it happen here? it happens here cos people can get away with it....at the end of the day if abusive behaviour is allowed, this forum is giong to disintegrate into a free for all and a coherent intelligent exchange of views just wont happen

I wouldn't take it too seriously. I support your comments that there is a few pricks on this forum and they know they can make such comments without fear of getting a "kick to the balls". Dare I say that people who make personal comments are cowards.

Your a fool and you know it.

You made that comment about Park right after he sent a shot in row z. That is why you got told to "feck Off".

Mods,

It does seem to me that increasingly there's a number of people on this forum that get abusive when views are expressed. For me, this kind of behaviour is taking away the fun of contributing to the board...unfortunately of course the internet does attract all sorts of lunatics but do we really need to stand for it when these people can be banned.... is there any chance of policing this kind of behaviour more?

Cheers

Hi jules, bloody whingebag, oh and you have a girls name.

I can see where Jules is coming from. Many posters don't spend all day and night postng on the caf (unlike most of us) and are not familiar with the caf's language so they might feel offended by the excessive use of foul words. I think it'd be great if that kind of talk could be maybe confined to the general but I imagine that it'd be quite impossible to moderate.

On a separate note, it would also be really nice if threads could stay on topic once in a while or at the very least not turn in to another funny thread when it concerns something serious. Specifically, I mean the thread Weaste started in the CE forum.

I actually agree that there is an uncalled for amount of abuse on here at times-however theres feck all we can do about it so its grin and bear it or post elsewhere sadly(personally Ive managed to while away most of the w/end at gayfutbalista  )

Listen, it was nothing personal yesterday and maybe your opinion was over the last 2 years or whatever. But I just hate seeing "fans" getting on players backs, especially after 2 fecking minutes of a match.

In the fields of psychology and psychoanalysis, Napoleon complex (or Napoleon syndrome) is a colloquial term used to describe a type of inferiority complex suffered by people who are short. The term is also used more generally to describe people who are driven by a perceived handicap to overcompensate in other aspects of their lives.[1] This can sometimes go as far as to lead to acts of violence or will to dominate those that are smaller than the short person.

Alfred Adler pioneered the psychological work on inferiority complexes[2], and used Napoléon Bonaparte as an example of someone whom he thought was driven to extremes by a psychological need to compensate for what he saw as a handicap: his small stature.

ok forgiven....believe me mate i want to see them as much as you do and i want to see the best team out there... and yes youre probably right that we need squad players like Park.. but im still entitled to say he's crap if i want to. By the way, i would never stand there at a match and boo them cos its totally counter-productive... but its harmless expressing a view on redcafe
