Thats not true at all. Arsenal fan tv has a lot of other content besides the post match interviews. In the summer they did a daily transfer news and other interesting pieces. Full Time Devils is full of arrogant Utd fans who still believe we actually have a devine right to be beating everyone and winning everything.
Maybe a fair reflection of a lot of match going fans? Or the Caf for that matter.

They are an embarassment. Neville was really humble meeting them and then they whine about 'you all treat the fans with contempt' for most of the show, Robbie's being a self important prick trying to compare his youtube channel to TV presenters talking about how many clicks he gets.

I hated him on the pitch but as a pundit and bloke I hate to tip my hat to him.

Seems like you quoted my post instead of @OohAahMartial's post

Gary Neville was well out of his comfort zone there. Could tell buy his continued laughter trying to cover himself up. Arsenal fans have every right to voice their opinion the way they want.

I think it was an awkward interview and he may of looked out of comfort zone cos they asked the same question over and over. He even alluded to it at 1 point saying he's already answered it. they should of moved on from the idiot thing after the first 5 mins and asked him some proper questions he could of answered and I'd imagine he may of thought he'd have to do that. It's not every day you get 30mins with a premier league legend and probably the biggest pundit in England at the moment and they really blew it.

It was harmless and they didn't embarrass themselves (except Mo) but it just seems a waste opportunity for me.

As for the channel in general I don't mind it, yeah they're all over the top but it works for them and they probably all make decent money off it which will at least pay for them to go to the games so they might s well carry on til people get inevitably bored. I heard people say things just as bad under Moyes and LVG outside Old Trafford during their reigns but they had the benefit of not being on camera. I'm sure everyone has said stupid stuff at a football game.

Agree with everything you said there. It is great for a fan channel to get an opportunity like that. And yep we all say something when feeling a tad emotional

He was because they kept wrongly berrating him. They have every right to voice their opinion, he has every right to call them idiots.

The guys dish out criticism but when it comes their way, they act like girls. If you're on youtube, expect that others respond and dont share the same opinion

These guys call Wenger every foul name under the sun, but cry when a supporter gets called an 'idiot' ?!

Definitely. Saw vids of them getting a tour around the sky studios and these lot were buzzing to be around. They met Carragher as well. Good to see fans have their say, but because of that lack of training, clearly some of them struggled to communicate, or quite frankly were in a bit of awe (especially Claude).

I find people like him and the Bludfam guy to be a bit disgusting tbh. I appreciate there's a lot of emotion after such a performance and result and that Arsenal have stalled. But to speak about Wenger in that way, this guy who's done so much for the club, is just insane. I know Arsenal were a big club before he came anyway but he's at least overseen a potentially difficult time for them wrt the stadium and changed their image worldwide to a stylish club who play good football.

I don't know. I know you guys were giving Ferguson a lot of stick around 03/04 etc but I don't remember it being this vitriolic (though it was never this bad I guess).

Mot going to lie though, these videos have just give me quite a good laugh.

People were giving Fergie stick in 03/04? .

Could you fill me in on this? I've honestly never realised aside from the first few years of him managing here, that people ever really criticised him too much.

Piss poor video, they really didn't ask or discuss anything mildly football related at all and just spoke about respect for Fan channels and calling people an idiot. That Mo guy kept banging on about it as though Gary burned his house down, fecking get over it.

Was quite a bit on their snapchat to, so no links for that.

Even look at Troopz' new profile picture on twitter. Guy sitting in the maim chair at MNF.

What a waste of an interview with Gary Neville. Just the Arsenal fans repeating the same thing over and over again.
They're well trained in groundhog day syndrome.

Was a wasted opportunity, they call each other cnuts but are angry at one fan being called an idiot.

This shows the difference between YouTube punditry and TV punditry. Worlds apart.

If only someone had said this during the interview. wink

I think Gary did. But he muttered the point rather than exclaiming it, thinking it wouldn't have dragged on the interview at the time probably.

EDIT: FFS white text

I felt awkward for Gary from my bleeding living room. They were all supposedly arguing the same cause but there was no coherence, mostly poorly formed questions (seemed like it was given very little thought) and directing the conversation towards BS points like youtube view/clicks.

There was a discussion to be had, but it was obviously lost in translation - it's like the Arsenal lot speak a totally different language (pun not intended with the troopz thing :D )

Troopz defo just get's a little excited with his lingo. I'm from the East end, we all have a little slang in the vocab and that but he goes a bit excess get me. bludfyaz. famdemz.

I think FullTimeDevils is far better. ArsenalFanTV is just rants and controversial clickbait. FullTimeDevils has good analysis with Statman Dave, transfer reviews, pre-match analysis, the press conferences, 4 way discussion with camera in camera displays and professional graphics and editing. The regular guys are generally sensible yet funny and they have the fancams segment for a broad range of fans. They even have youth profiles, debates, player interviews. I barely watch mutv but watch most FullTimeDevils videos - its laughable that a fan channel could be better than the official channel.

It's difficult to see your post as anything other than partisan.

There is no comparison. Arsenal Fan TV is without doubt much better than FTD.

They didn't press Gary on the right points. He kept on saying how a loyal servant of 20 years doesn't deserve to be asked to leave but didn't really give any good reasons as to why time spent in the job should give Wenger a free pass for the rest of his time at Arsenal. He needed to be challenged more on his views about sacking managers too. He mentioned Moyes only getting 8 months, I'm sure he would have objected to Hull sacking Phelan and Swansea sacking Bradley after short spells, I'd like to have seen him argue why these were wrong decisions, despite the much improved outlooks for those clubs under their new managers.

Fair play to Gary Neville for going on that to begin with. Thought the Arsenal Fan TV guys could have maybe prepared a little better though with the questions. DT is probably the only one of the crew I would actually listen to, the other guys I watch purely for comedy after Arsenal defeats. Quite clear that Robbie is trying to get a career in TV and the self promoting of how great their channel is got a little tiring at times. I wonder do they release that a lot of people watch it purely for the meltdowns

Im not sure how Nev sees its ok for Arsene Wenger to be getting a free pass though as @shaky says above.

What are the chance of Gaz doing an AMA here? he seems approachable.

Just saw an old clip of DT from Troopz's Youtube channel. Guy has a real nasty scar on one side of his face. Suggests he has somewhat of a dark past!

Read more quotes from him and it's even worse and more damning.

“As much as it hurts to lose games, if you look at the history of Arsenal, the club had less Champions League games when I arrived than I had in my career already,”

And I hope in the future that we can win this trophy — or that Arsenal can win this trophy — but it’s not like before I arrived that Arsenal had won the European Cup five times. They had never won it. And they had played maybe 10 games in the history of the club. So you have to have some perspective.”

Sounds a lot like LVG in his last season with 'fans expectations being too high' and what not.
He sounds like Moyes. He's in a sinking ship and he's the captain. He just doesn't want to let go even if everyone can see it's the best thing for Arsenal apart from the board.

Moyes has reached a Champions league quarter-final more recently than Wenger.

Wenger said:

No bloody wonder, seeing as you weren't competing for CL qualification in the fiercely-competitive Premier League and Arsenal were.

Spent way too much time having Gary defend his "idiot" and "embarrassing" comments. I wanted more direct questions to Gary about the football side of things. Still it was enjoyable and I watched the whole thing. Was left wanting a bit more though.

That Showdown was devoid of any meaningful content. Should have been done and dusted in 5 mins rather than dragging it for 35. Gary himself was sidestepping half the time repeating the same thing over and over again and the gooners behaving like someone stole their wives. DT was alright but that's about it.

Moh comes across as one of those guys that have very little substance to what they're trying to say. 99.9% of what he says it's complete and utter waffle and the odd big word thrown in. Plonker. Ty deserved an appearance.

Yeah I was disappointed to not see Ty - but I'm guessing it was probably because he's Wenger In.

This was my first reaction! After all, he is one of the regulars, isn't he? They probably didn't have Ty because he would probably "side with" Neville. If true, that says a lot about the channel.

The whole thing was ridiculous. You have so long with one of the stars of the game and you utterly waste it going on and on about the same things. Except for DT, everyone else looked completely without any solid agenda for discussing the game and their club's situation.

Some of the posters here have put forth a great set of questions that they could have asked Neville regarding Arsenal. However, I really thought they would use this limelight to atleast discuss how fans can get more involved in the matters of the club, not just Arsenal, and in general improve the fans' standing in the game. But there was no sensible discussion whatsoever.

In summary, as football fans, they asked Gary fecking Neville: "Why did you call him an idiot? Why are we embarrassing? Why are we clowns?" I mean, take a fecking look at yourselves. They just wanted to corner Neville and crucify him, but couldn't even do that.

They had one chance and they blew it, just like the club they support.

That Moh lad is an annoying pseudo intellectual who always try to show he's morally superior to everyone. F**kin prat. Has nothing to say most times. As Neville said, takes one point and makes it over and over and over again in different ways. I avoid his videos at all costs.
