Adrien Rabiot

Sakho really loved PSG and wanted to stay there for the rest of his career but they treated him like shit.
Yeah, that's just sad. I remember reading, back in 2010 or something like that, when he was made captain, that he was living the dream, and all he wants is to play for the club he loved as a child. Must have been really tough on the guy all that. And i mean Alex was preferred to him, who is nothing special either, and i believe he is actually a worse defender. Then they singed Marquinos for crazy money and he has been basically a flop.

Ideally Alex should have been playing with Sakho and then should have become a back up once Silva arrived. I never understood why they bought Marquinhos really, for such a stupid amount too. Well that money helped Roma that's for sure.
He plays for Liverpool but it's very hard to hate Sakho, a genuine nice guy who gives 100% on the pitch, he was our team's captain last night vs Norway. He's a natural leader.

Sakho was rumoured to leave fir years but stayed because of loyalty and when the time arrived, the club had already catered for his departure... Whilst with this lads and others, due to some of the Fair Play issues he seems to have a bit on them...
For footballing reason moving on won't be a bad idea but he is already a regular..cant really understand the argument of lacking game time.. Maybe he just wants some assurance considering PSG are linked with every cat capable of fashioning a bicycle kick.
Well i mentioned the restrictions myself, but hey, it's only 4 players. Even if it's for out of 21, you still have more that enough for a strong squad. You probably want to rest player in national championship, not a CL. And as for nation-trained, well they have many option, they bought Cabaye, Digne, they have Matuidi, i mean they are fairly covered. So while being in a strong position, i can't say that PSG can't let Rabiot go at all.
As for playing time, actually despite many apps, he not had much playing time. But lets see, Motta is not exactly young, so maybe PSG wants him to take over his role, but as i've said they probably end buying someone.

Yeah, yeah, i watched. National team captain, it's really hard to grasp, what PSG were thinking.
Valbuena had a great match, i wonder what he will do, with Bielsa coming, maybe its wise to stay, great player though.

A pointless signing? He is younger than Ben Pearson and Joe Rothwell and has 55 senior appearances while they have none. I rate our two boys very highly but Rabiot is rated by many as one of the best coming through in Europe. Signing any hotly tipped young prospect like Rabiot is hardly pointless.
I've watched him more than that video, but tbf not a great deal. I just don't think he adds anything to our midfield. He is incredibly one footed and very loose with his passing. I don't think he's going to turn out to be a top class player and I think he'd be a waste of money.

Heard a lot of him, but seen next to nothing. From that video, he seems to have much of the raw qualities I'd like to see added to our midfield, in that he is strong, can carry the ball and get around the pitch at speed.

This story has my attention.

Seems like he is going to leave PSG like Kingsley Coman. What are the views on him from the regular PSG followers?

On another note, its time we start being shrewd and astute on the transfer front when it comes to youngsters and bargains. Can't recall the last time we made a bargain or a free signing who turned out to be class. Not that it is necessary but it would help us immeasurably. Hernandez was good but was hardly a roaring success. Prior to that I can probably think of Vidic and Evra. We have had too many flops in this regard since then with the likes of Obertan, Tosic, Diouf, Vermijil, Buttner, De Laet and Bebe. While the jury is still out on Angelo Henriquez, Powell and Zaha, it raises question about the quality of our scouting and our transfer dealings when it comes to up and coming youngsters in recent years...

Rafael i guess ? And Fabio though that didn't work out.

Talks of him being available for under 6m. Arsenal and Juventus being linked with him. I'd love to have him here and think he'd be a good signing. Just the type of midfielder that we lack in our side.

I'd love him here. But he seems to be Arsenal bound isnt he? Especially with the French players at Arsenal, it might be his favorite destination.

If Rabiot goes for 6 million he will be the bargain of the season wherever he ends up and PSG would be crazy to let a young french talent like him go.

I would take him with no hesitations and him and Pogba will be an amazing midfield for france for years to come - so I can see why Juve would want him.

if he is possibly available for anything like 6 million and we dont go in for him then i honestly have no clue what we are doing with our midfield.

£6m is a steal and he can fill the gaps left in our midfield until Carrick comes back or we buy a number 6. I will not be surprised if we miss out on him and keep the dross we have in our midfield or buy someone of no potential quality.

He may be attracted by the French connection but looking at our midfield I think he'd see a better opportunity for himself to become a regular starter. Can definitely see the muppets crying about this one in a few years.

if arsenal end up with him and ramsey in central midfield there will be a lot of what ifs from our fans!

Don't watch that much of football outside of United these days but by the sound of things this guy fits the profile of the kind of players we have let other teams have a free run at. The kind of player who would come here and start contributing straight away and with the potential to grow into one of the best in his position.

We won't sign this guy - Woodward hasn't had the 24 months he needs to begin to prepare the preparation to prepare a bid.

He's supposed to be highly rated, right? A big young central midfield talent would be a welcome addition.

Can anyone comment on whether he's ready to start in midfield for Arsenal. I haven't seen much of him and he's very young.
No he wouldn't be a better options than what you have. He's one for the future. On his current ability he is being overrated on here.

He's an okay player, but I think people are getting overexcited on here. Even at 6M I find him a tad overpriced, I don't see what he's done to warrant that. Could possibly develop into a very good player, but as things stand, he's miles behind any of your options in CM.

He's best as a #10 from what i've seen of him. Can play deeper as well but he is a excellent talent.

One for the future though we should be in for him totally for 6 million.

Hilarious, thought he definitely wasn't signing a new deal. Happy with this, probably would have ended up at Chelsea or Arsenal anyway.

I thought his transfer to Roma was a done deal.

He said on 13th October:

I don't know if I will play for PSG again, as I don't enjoy being in the reserves.

So I imagine he's been given a lot of reassurances that he'll feature in the first team more from now on.

maybe, but i am pretty sure money played a massive role too.

He’s wanted by Rudi Garcia it’s true and the fact is that Laurent Blanc punished him since the beginning of the season because this boy wanted a massive pay rise and a status in the team. His biggest problem is his mother, his agent. She’s well known in the French football and she’s got a bad influence, footballing speaking, on his career. He just signed a new contract to get Paris some money this winter to reinvest (because of the FFP)
