Bagged another couple of goals at the weekend and should have had a hat trick, really. Currently on 9 goals and 2 assists for the season from midfield. Only 1goal behind their top scorer Vlahovic and currently their top performance ranked player of the season.
Still think he'd be a great bargain in the summer and be a very good partner or substitute for Casemiro.

This is such an obvious transfer, no fee can play number 6 or number 8, a beast physically and scores and creates goals this should be our first deal done in the summer.
People are still on the Sabitzer hype for £20m.
But I will persist to say this is the better deal.
Depends whether Veronique can lower those crazy demands from last summer,could provide us with that option to rest Casa next season which will be crucial

Scored another goal over the weekend - he's on 8 in Serie A, 2 in UCL for the season. Was pretty good for France in the World Cup as well.

Rabiot has gotten unfair stick because of the shitshow that is PSG and because of his mother. When he's been asked to be a central figure at PSG, Juve, or France, he's done rather well and it goes under the radar. He'd be a very good signing for United, but as always and as is fair, the price tag and baggage should all be considered.

I like Rabiot but I'm not entirely sure he would accept a squad role and be happy with it.

Why would he not play. He’s a 6/8. Just means we can buy a younger midfielder for rotation like Real have done with Camavinga/Tchouameni.

For me this would be a big indication that the Glazers are going nowhere because Rabiot is the type of signing you make when you're broke. We might as well just sign Sabitzer permanently.
Yeah he'd definitely be a Glazer type signing but that's not to say he'd be bad given the number of areas we need to improve. CF, CM followed by RB, backup DM atleast.
If Ten Hag thinks we can be competitive with Rabiot, that gives us more wiggle room with spending in other areas. Can break the bank for Osimhen, get a proper RB etc.
I really do hope we can get someone that's a little bit classier and can retain the ball though. Someone of the Kroos, Thiago, Veratti mould. That's what you really need to hit that elite level.
I’d be happy with Rabiot coming in if we signed Caicedo as well which would give us a strong core of Caicedo, Rabiot, Casemiro and Eriksen with Mejbri coming through then we could move one of McTominay or Fred and VDB on.
I’ve never really been that impressed when I’ve watched him. He seems decent, strong and can play a bit but I’m not really sure what he’d bring to us besides a bit of steel. I don’t think he could replace Casemiro, I don’t think he’s particularly creative, and I don’t think he’s the quality we need in possession. He’d be another Jack of all trades squad player, and we’re already apparently signing Sabitzer for that.

We have spent ridiculous amounts of money under the Glazers and most of it has been wasted.
He is a more educated (because French, instead of Scottish) McTominay, playing out his contract year very very well.
McTominay was my first thought, but I didn’t want to compare the two in case I got piled on
they do strike me as similarHe’s much much tidier on the ball than Scotty and a lot better technically. To be honest, I don’t see a lot of similarities between the two other than them both being tall and midfielders.

Caicedo or Ugarte from Sporting along with Rabiot and that sorts our midfield out nicely. Move on McTominay this summer (Rabiot taking his place) and let Fred go the following summer (Mainoo taking his place after a loan).

Nothing too solid but there are regular links to us and a few other Prem clubs. He will be a good pick up for whoever gets him, for us I think he would be an upgrade on Sabitzer and provide some of the physicality McTominay brings but with far better technical ability.

Rabiot is a solid all-rounder, the kind of midfielder every top club needs. But unless there's no chance of signing Sabitzer, let's sign Sabitzer over Rabiot.

As cover for Casemiro i'd say he's about as good as we could reasonably expect to get. At a great price too. As a partner for casemiro and a first team midfielder it'd be very underwhelming. He could definitely do a job, i think i'd be dissapointed as it'd be extremely defensive. Maybe it has merit away against City or whoever.

Rabiot is currently joint top scorer at Juve in Serie A this season. Only 8 goals though.

Starter for the best (second best) national team in the world, Juve's best midfielder (certainly better than Locatelli or Beans!), has scored as much as prolific Vlahovic who Juve want to flog for 60M+ and is on free.
If he'd like to play in the PL and he fancies United, it's a no brainer for me.
