Mirallas comes across ridiculously twattish here.

haha he's sound scared actually because his place in the squad is threatened. Its maybe to early in Janzuaj career to go to the world cup but everytime he's go on for united he's made a difference so he deserves and Belgium needs as much talent to bring as it gets.

Very unprofessional. But I suppose he's just bitter that it took him 2 full seasons before he was recognised by the international coaches. Poor Kev.

It'd be beyond funny if this actually worked against Mirallas and Januzaj took his place. Twat.

If Mirallas loses his spot in this world cup, he won't start another international tournament. Our Adnan will be light years ahead of him in a couple year's time, he maybe already if it comes down to decision making and intelligence or not being a total shithead making comments like these about your team mates.

He needs to start all three of the last games of the season. Zero pressure and it will aid his development considerably.

Reading the reactions here and what Mirallas said, I actually thought he said something much worse.

Mirallas should worry about his form not Adnan. Says a lot about his mentality and confidence that he is already nervously looking over his shoulder. Januzaj is not even guaranteed a place in the final squad and if he goes he'll probably be an option off the bench.

Judging by Giggs' groundbreaking selection strategy against Norwich, Adnan should be nailed on to start today, given he scored twice against Sunderland in the reverse fixture.

Does anyone think he'll be converted into a striker under Van Gaal?

I've been thinking that'd be his best position for a while. Don't think he'll start through the middle as we have plenty options but if LvG keeps his 433, I'd imagine he's a lock on for one of the forward positions.

The sky is the limit for him. He's already a better wing option that Valencia, Nani and Young in his debut season. Good performance so far and should've gotten a penalty IMO.

Just, just imagine what Van Gaal can turn him into! Giggsy can help too...

The main thing is he is exciting. Always willing to take on the other players.

Anyone else reminded of the Ronaldo foul against Portsmouth that was never given back in 08, when Januzaj burst into the box and got shoved over?

Only player we have out there tonight capable of doing something different. The lack of creativity in our squad is nearly as frightening as Januzaj must be to opposing defences.

He should be a starter next season regardless of who we sign. Direct and pacy, pretty much everything Kagawa is not. Even Mata and Rooney are slow as feck.

I must say, I was quite worried that Moyes would've ruined him by making him into a cross merchant.

LVG coming in will have a big impact on our younger players I reckon.

Wings of Janko with Januzaj would probably do more this season than Young and Valencia who is quite solid defensively on the right back.

Two more years and he'll be as good as Hazard, Reus or Lucas.

He'l be a star. HAving a manager like Van Gaal could take him to the next level. Amazing talent.

The "Januzaj is slow" brigade have always been a set of idiots.

No doubt; he takes long strides, which makes him seem less nippy than players like Lennon, Shaun Wright Phillips etc (he's not as fast as Lennon!), but looks can be deceiving. His acceleration is very good. Make him undertake the Ronaldo fitness program and he will also be very fast over a distance with his running style.

Zero attempt to play the ball, can't believe that wasn't a foul

What a cnut Meyler is.

Easily MOTM tonight, his skill and dribbling is a joy to watch when he's getting it right

Can't wait to see what he does next season.
