Great team, c'mon boys! Probably a team which will play against Scousers in the Cup, + Will Keane. Should be a good match for us today.

McGinty is in great form lately... It would be a shame if he would'nt be in a squad on that day.
No streams for the match are available for now, nothing on myp2p.eu, simplyreds forum is down at the moment. So watchit on mutv, or follow the updates on twitter.

Lingard is someone who's impressing more and more for the academy as the season progresses. His link up play can be very easy on the eye, it's a pity his end product is generally so poor, he seems to miss two or three good chances in the majority of games he plays.

He's quite unlucky at times too, but takes up some great positions.

Cole has been very lively early on, and United well on top with Morrison and Pogba from a free kick testing their keeper with Blackburn defending in numbers.

Pogba forces a good save from the keeper with a free-kick. United well on top at the moment and creating chances.

True that Lingard can sometime be unlucky, but he amount of shots the keeper save from him can't be a fluke. As you say though he does take up some very good attacking positions so hopefully thats the next thing he will improve on.

That wasn't unlucky! Great goal from United - crossfield ball from Keane to McGinty, first touch to Pogba who plays the one-two first touch too, McGinty crosses first time and Lingard on the volley into the far corner. Brilliant.

Edit. You probably won't see a better worked and taken goal all weekend.

In all seriousness though very good goal, nice team move followed by a great finish. That's two in two for Lingard now, hopefully he can keep that up. Another thing I like about Lingard is he is always closing down and trying to anticipate mistakes in the opposition defence.

Lingard is the one often getting the space as he keeps on coming off the left wing and popping up on central positions intelligently as McGinty provides the width.

Van Velzen seems to be growing into the striker role, some of his hold up play has been very good and he seems to be getting a bit more robust and harder to shake off the ball.

Physically, what's Van Velzen like? Is he strong, quick in the Cofie mould or is he a skilful type in the Berbatov...be interested to know

He's a tall lad but has some filling out to do. Not the quickest but a great body swerve and very quick feet. He's a little like a Pogba playing on the wing.

As for the game 1-0 at HT with Blackburn forcing a good save out of a diving Johnstone near the end but it's been one way traffic for the most part against an organised side with United disappointed to only go in with a slender lead.

Back up and streaming the game.

Its been an enjoyable first half. Both full backs have supported well, good balance in midfield and that goal was a 10 in terms of build up, movement and execution. Always count on the youth to provide some good entertainment..

Blackburn are looking more threatening this half, and it's been far more even.

Thorpe looks like he's coming off with Massacci on. I assume McGinty will go to centre back and Massacci to left back.

Shades of the rooney newcastle goal where he put his boot through it after frustration with the ref.

Slight change in Lingard and Lawrence moving up front with Morrison dropping to the left (although it's fairly fluid).

McGinty has had a good game today. Looks more confident on the ball of late and less gangly.

Ekangamene on for Lingard.

Possible penalty shout as Pogba impeded when played through, although would have been v generous.

Morrison booked for an off camera incident after an altercation with their player who he was fortunate to not get booked for tripping earlier in the half.

Great interplay again there, this time between Morrison and Lawrence with Lawrence eventually just being crowded out and the keeper blocked the ball at his feet. Morrison is really giving the tired Blackburn defenders a torrid time late on in this game.

Morrison nearly scores his second with a similar chipped attempt as Cole the previous week after a great through ball from Tunnicliffe, but the keeper gets a vital touch on it.

Blackburn getting a bit frustrated as we're running through them at will.

Nearly a great goal after a great improvised flick over the defence from Morrison to Cole who flicks it over. Morrison much improved when riled!

Very good point, he seemed to be on cruise control throughout most of the game. But since he got a talking to for that tackle just before his goal he's been on overdrive, giving the Blackburn defence all sorts of problem.

Just got his second goal with a great strike.
