Academy Play-Off Semi-Final: United V Arsenal

Morrison looking good again, lovely ball to King who tries to do too much, Morrison does well to win a throw from the resulting loose ball.

Eikrem, Welbeck, De Laet and a few other reserves watching on from the side lines
 
Arsenal's academy keeper better then all of their first team keeper. This has become a box to box game. Corner to United.
 
Pogba with some good work along the goal-line near the Arsenal goal but toomany bodies.

Seconds later a great chance for Keane, then Arsenal go down the other end and are saved by a great tackle... very end to end now.
 
Corner is headed clear, Morrison sends a swirling ball back in and with everyone missing it it drifts just wide of the post
 
Into the 88th minute....

Morrison with a shot, but sends it past the post as he struggles to get it out from under his feet
 
Been very much a game of two halves. Arsenal easily in control for the entire first half, but struggled to create clear chances.

United came out strongly in the 2nd half and really bossed it, Ajose and Morrison in particular looking dangerous and creating chances for Keane and King. But, still no goals, and Arsenal look dangerous on the break
 
Corner cleared to Morrison, finds Ajose on the left who beats his man and floats a ball out to Tunnicliffe who tries to blast it on the volley and hits it high and wide
 
0-0 till 90th Minutes, Match goes to Extra Time
 
Nice passing move from the middle involving Morrison, Pogba, and Keane ends in Ajose sending a cross to the far post - where unfortunately there's no red shirts and the ball is cleared
 
Great chance for Keane as Ajose does wonderfully down the left and drags it back, but Keane can only scuff his shot and the keeper bravely gathers in-front of King
 
1-0, with Brown caught up field Freeman does well to hold of Tunnicliffe down the left and cross deep, Jakob (sp?) brings the ball down, takes a touch and drives it into the far corner.

King beats Miquel down the left but with time and space sends a poor pass into the area and it's cleared.

King's been offside more often than Inzaghi today.

Not sure about that one mind.
 
And Cofie is on for Keane. He's not really been able to get in the game today, here's hoping Cofie can add some energy

Cofie played through, out muscles his marker and despite being dragged back manages to lift his shot over the diving keeper and in off the far post.
 
Miquel has gone down again, not sure if it's cramp or something else but he's not looked comfortable for the last 20 minutes, if we can isolate him he could be a real weak link now.

And apparently Cofie had been on the pitch for 19 seconds when he scored, not bad
 
Lovely ball from Morrison to King who slides in Cofie who is blatantly obstructed, but nothing given. Poor refereeing there
