Worst scout to ever exist
Fred is a decent player given an impossible task.
Mctominay is an average player given an impossible task.
Pogba is a quality but luxury player being asked to do a position he is not a natural in.
Shaw and Maguire are off form - euro defeat hangover.
Sancho is a superstar kid in a new league with a coaching staff who doesn't know how to use him.
Greenwood is a potential world class forward being punted wide just to get him minutes - which is fine - but also a distinct lack of coaching and telling him what not to do and how to improve.
Ronaldo is a world class poacher who offers a lot of goalscoring and shooting on the ball but not much off it - which is fine.
Bruno is a crazy #10 who is being told to play as a forward more than as a midfielder, but works his socks off every game regardless, but also needs coaching to tell him when to calm things down and when to speed it up.
And so on. I'm not blaming any of the players. They aren't being used to their fullest, they aren't given a platform to succeed in, the tactics are exposing their weaknesses more than enhancing their strengths. They still work hard every game, but have no coaching on how to do simple things like being compact or pressing as a unit. There is no direction on how to attack with the ball other than individual player magic. The way our games go, how it's been for almost 3 years now... its on nobody but Ole and the coaching staff. There's loads of inconsistency as a direct result of the coaching. Players are asked on the ball to be difference makers and make magic happen with no guidance or evidence of team play, which leads to inconsistent decisions and mistakes.
