7 games

It was always going to be an uphill battle given how our fixture list was fairly lopsided, Ole had the same issue earlier in the season. The problem we had with Rangnick wasn't the results now, but it was the draws with Villa, Southampton, Burnley earlier on when our fixture list was much easier. We're now in a desperate position with a tough fixture list.

We don't deserve to finish in the top 4 anyway this season. We've had a mare this season.
 
We'd easily get 4th if we our players gave 100% for the final 8 games. They're talented enough.

But they won't give 100% and we won't get 4th. Spurs and Arsenal will want it more
 
No chance we will win against Liverpool, and let's not forget, this will help them towards at least the title, equalling our 20, and they're also looking likely for a quadruple, eclipsing our treble.

You'd like to think that would inspire our pathetic players to go out there and do everything possible to take points off them... unfortunately we no longer have the likes of Roy Keane it'll be all hugs and kisses while Klopp gurns and fist pumps from the sidelines....

Can't wait til the season is over, we've been hopeless and we also have to watch Liverpool and maybe City winning multiple trophies, with potentially the 2 of them fighting out the CL final come May...

I was actually disappointed football was back this weekend I used to hate the international break... thank feck we have F1

I have gone for win 3 draw 3 and lose 2. End up with 50% of the available points. Everything is so 50% ish mid table ish about us these days.

Yep, I think something very similar. Would not at all be surprised to see one of those wins as another draw either.
 
3 to 4 wins will be the best we can do. We haven’t won 3 consecutive games all season, doubt that trend changes now. This will be the low point for us post-Fergie.
 
I've checked out. I'll check the results but I can't see myself watching another game this season, which I've never ever been like in my life with United. It's fecking tormenting watching and cheering for a group of players who largely don't give a toss. Feck them all.

Roll on the summer and the clearout. It's a shame the World Cup isn't on to be a distraction for the summer.
 
It's solely now about giving some younger players an opportunity. I'd not bother with the likes of Pogba and Ronaldo again, I doubt they will be around next year.

Completely agree with this. Pogba particularly has already said the season is over for him and it will be the same for any of the players leaving, why would they care about getting 4th, 5th or 6th when they will be at a new club come July. We have to give some of the better youth players a chance so we can get a better idea of who can be part of the team next year and at the very least even if we lose games with some of the kids playing we will at least have players out there giving everything they have for 90 minutes, not millionaires strolling around thinking about their next jolly in Dubai.

Yeah players are already on the beach, so chances of finishing top 4 are pretty much zero

We should have wrapped up 4th a while ago, we had about 8 games of reasonable fixtures and we flopped. I see zero evidence that our form will change, that these players will grow a back bone or some pride, I think 3 wins, 3 draws and 2 defeats is on the cards. Will that be enough for 4th, absolutely not. Most these players know they will not be around, why should they break a sweat now? I've checked out of the season, I have minus 100% faith that we have false hope of 4th, I only hope we get 5th or 6th to have some kind of Europe next season.
 
Genuinely think we could be on course for our lowest points tally in the history of the Premier League. Think we'll finish on 60-63 points.

Pretty certain it will be lowest wins too.

Liverpool A - loss
Arsenal A - loss
Brentford H - draw
Brighton A - loss
Chelsea H - loss
Palace A - loss
After today one win one draw I reckon. hopefully we finish 8th, dont want to play in a mickey mouse conference cup. Give the new manager more time on the training ground as these players need all the help they can get.
 
Everton was one I thought we'd surely get 3pts from. We can't drop points to Norwich can we? Can we? CAN WE???

Fancy Tottenham with the run in. Reminds me of a couple of season sbakc when nobody seemed good enough for 4th. Win all our remanining games I think we would still maybe come 4th, but cant trust this squad in a single game let alone our run in

We need 5 wins to equal the lowest win record and 13 points to match the 64 we got that year. I tend to agree with you , this will be our lowest point and win total in PL history.

Deserve a worse season than 13/14 because atmosphere around place is even worse than it was back then

It will a disastrous run of draws and defeats, similar to the terrible run after Ole signed up to be permanent manager.

I'm constantly amazed that some people can devote so much of their time to football and yet really do not understand what they are looking at.

We won't get top four because we are trying to play high press with a team that cannot play high press. It's that simple.

Yeh, it looks dismal.
Looking at the fixtures, the most points we can realistic win is 9 (3 wins out of 7 games)
It's more likely we'll get 4 or 5 at the most.

This is going to be very costly for United as we'll be losing a couple of hundred £million in income next season (reduced TV money, reduced EPL payments, no UCL income, heavily reduced sponsorship payments etc,.

Looking at the remaining games I'm pretty sure it'll stay that way. It must be a new record

I'd have been surprised if we had won 3 consecutive games. It's been a train wreck of a season from start to finish
