This isn't unusual in loads of countries?

If you live in Salford (me), Labour will win your area - every single time.
The FPTP system is bad enough when it comes to electing the legislator (parliament/Congress or whatever) but at least you are electing a group of people that collectively make laws etc. with each person elected getting a vote. And they (at least in theory) represent you and your interesests.

The Electoral College isn't doing that. It's just appointing a single person as the countries leader for next 4 years. They are not a representative of a locality, they are the representative of an entire nation, so the entire nation should decide who that person is directly and equally.

Hillary at least won the popular vote and they could explain it to electoral college being nonsense.

Harris is going to lose the popular vote. There is no coming back from this.
De-Industrialization and that legacy combined with metropolitan areas on the coasts in contrast to fly-over america which is basically entirely red now with like two exceptions.

Should have made Gavin Newsom run instead of Kamala.

Blame Biden for that. Had he decided to not run again, the Dems could've had a proper primary where the strongest candidate emerged instead of simply gifting it to someone.

Is there a link to CNN livestream on youtube? I can find all channels on there except for CNN!

my takeaway, even if Harris somehow pull this out, is that this country is only going to change, if it ever does, if it completely breaks. We might need Trump to deport 10 million people and crash the economy. Even then I am not confident we change.

Or maybe they just dont like Harris.. maybe..

Meaning they like Trump more. Equally damning.

The most cartoonishly stupid politician you could imagine. Man, I wonder what I would have made of this back when I thought Bush was a shitty candidate.

He deported only 1.5m illegals. Less than both Obama and Biden.

Once he's done jailing and deporting everyone, will there be anything left for him to accomplish?

Yep. Which sort of happened during COVID and Trump's poor response.

Democrats should've planned for this in 2020 and got caught napping. Still hanging in there...

WI, MI and PA and Popular Vote to trump if that keeps going on.

This will be brutal. He will be legitimized at every front to do everything he wants

Jen psaki talking about how amazing democratic staffers are. Your party is eating shit once again. You are a complete fecking loser. Shut the feck up.
Seems they are well into the coping stage at this point and yet again will fail to comprehend that this was always on the Democrats. But maybe next time they will learn?
