A rare advantage of my man-crush on Giles was that I was aware of the Robbo link immediately :lol:. Nah, CM was the last gap in my provisional starting XI, so I had to get that sorted before hoping to nab alternatives/upgrades in the remaining rounds.

I didn't really study the pool aside from positions I wanted to strengthen, but there's several teams with gaping holes in their starting XIs so I'm assuming the blocked players were the standout available ones in their positions. That was certainly the case with Zoff for Iso and I. Looking at the first pick choices for the previous round, I'd consider it fairly risky on the whole.
