2021 American Civil War

It's fecking depressing.

Looking back at January 6 as a whole, I wish the chain of command disregarded any word from the White House so the National Guard and the police would roll in with tanks and APCs. I wonder how those Trump voters would speak about it now if actual armor came in.

Re: BLM

The other common theme is the whataboutism that these guys do. Its about property damage rather than the actual fact that cops have killed a lot of black folks. But it must be a cultural socialisation -- historically only the whites had property and so the only way for the blacks to get back at the whites is to damage (their) property?
They complain about the result of the riots or BLM protest rather than the actual reason for the protest.

The state of Florida caps damages for wrongful death by the government at $200K (and $120K for black folk if DeSanctis gets his way). The average house in Florida is worth >$300k. You do the math it makes sense, a house has more value than a person, especially a black person once America returns to its greatness.

THIS IS SARCASM

Its fecked up. But I always hear them yelling about damage to property, almost Pavlovian when there's another protest about another death by police. I bet the white slave owners were bitching about the damage to their properties after slave rebellions rather than lives or the immorality of slavery even back then

The more things change the more it stays the same.

Edit:

Burning community assets is a sign that people are tired of feeling valueless. One quote by Martin Luther King, Jr.—“A riot is the language of the unheard”—is repeatedly offered up during these times for a reason: Black people’s concerns are seemingly only heard when something is burning.

Guantanamo?

Way too small to hold 900+ inmates. I say such prison ought to be built somewhere in the Pacific or near the Arctic circle in Alaska to make sure that any escape attempt would most likely be fatal because of surrounding wildlife itself. I mentioned French Guyana/Guiana because the place was made very notorious to worldwide audiences by the story of Henri "Papillon" Charrière.

Sums up my point above about penitentiary colonies. People like the asshole who beat Paul Pelosi should end up in one of those.

But speaking broadly of that incident, the FBI should be on Marge's stinky ass right now.

To be fair, pretty sure the MTG tweet was in reference to when Musk would officially take Twitter over.

Why not build it inside a lion enclosure so all these traitors can be consumed alive by wild animals? Or just shoot them without trial?

Build it on one of the Aleutian islands! Perfect territory.

Or we can maybe not be barbaric and send them to a normal federal prison. Disgraceful.

Those people should be removed as far away from any civilized society as possible because they made a perfectly consented choice of becoming an enemy to a democratic society.

I was thinking the same as well, but UNESCO already beat such idea to the punch by designating the area as a UNESCO biosphere reserve in 1976.

The New York Young Republicans Club, the oldest and largest young Republicans club in the U.S., appeared to call for a coup in Brazil on Sunday night after their preferred candidate Jair Bolsonaro lost to rival and former president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.

“With 99.9% of the votes tallied in the runoff vote, da Silva had 50.9% and Bolsonaro 49.1%, and the election authority said da Silva’s victory was a mathematical certainty,” reported the Associated Press on the result, which was actually much tighter than expected.

News reports and election officials in the country were not enough to sway the New York Young Republicans Club, however. The group’s Twitter account announced Sunday night, “We proudly congratulate @jairbolsonaro on his victory in today’s runoff presidential election. Today’s victory comes in the face of massive opposition; today’s election was riddled with fraud engineered by Lula’s supporters. This fraud will not go unchallenged.”

Without citing any evidence or offering how a group of young Republicans in New York might know what is happening on the ground in Brazil, the group added, “We stand on the side of Brazilian People who advocate for liberty, prosperity, and good governance. We call on American and international organizations to recognize President Bolsonaro’s victory posthaste. The media will tell their lies. We will speak the truth.”

The absolute farce of a tweet was later followed by the announcement, “It’s time for action. Send in the tanks.” Twitter later deleted the tweet for violating its rules.

The desire for coups and fascism is now the core of the GOP ideology

I’m curious how it will all pan out.
A trend in politics I see worldwide is that many countries are completely divided which I presume comes from the populations being sick of politics in general. If only the hardcore voters go voting then the division won ‘t end any time soon.

Winning elections with 1 percent advantage like in Brazil is pretty worrying. It seems many countries are on the verge of getting out of control.

It isn’t any better in Europe with the far right being top 2 in the elections in most countries. A clear sign of great division caused by political unrest.

civil war still on?
Put it this way , I relish the day when some right wing douchebag is at the polling station spewing crap to me. At this point it might be time to be as dirty as they are. I love when people that are my gender race age think I’m like them and are taken aback when I strongly question them about all the made up crap they believe in.
There is a great divide and I live in a so called liberal state. So yea the civil war is still on

Not only the GOP. Several factions among the Tories in my home country, especially the newly formed Parti Conservateur du Québec really have a hard-on for being against every-fecking-thing that a democracy should stand for.

My take on them is very simple: I don't want those feckers around if they can't play nor abide by the rules, including the rule of law. If living in a democracy where liberal-minded people just happen to be the majority is too much for them, there are plenty of other countries for them to live in and enjoy. Some of those aforementioned countries are basically going as far as to destroy all democratic institutions and rules. I would love to see how long those people would do in such countries.

Can we confirm this with a second source? Had anyone asked Yahweh for comment?
:devil::devil::devil:

Who needs confirmation when you can feel the authenticity and near tears coming out of her? She spent all night writing her script and finally got it out at 5am.
Just say Yes to drugs.

Its incredibly scary. The worse part is, this shite has spread well outside the US as well.

Currently taking an English litterature/society course on the side and one of my classmates buys into all of this. Did some kind of group work on January 6th and we were about 2 minutes into it when he started ranting inchorently about it being a false flag attack and after me and the others debunked his nonsense he went into some absurd whataboutisms about BLM and how they "burned several cities to the ground" and how these traitors simply wanted to "get back at them"

Hes not gone full Q-anon as far as i understand, but he really have bought into a lot of the fear mongering and absurd conspiracy theories who gets spouted by these right wing propagandists

That is actual proper literal treason but the lunatics who support them will call them patriots.

We need a civil war over here tbh, and by civil i mean westminister and the banks getting lumps kicked out of them

Just saw a show where they interviewed a bunch of people citing 2000 mules as a source of why they think voter fraud was ramptant in the 2020 elections. Also heard a podcast where they said candidates are fully allowed to blatantly lie because of free speech. That country is fecked.
