Ive asked a friend of mine about this issue, as he’s a board member for a large LGBT political group in SC... according to him, they don’t want to pursue that angle of attack because they fear it would ultimately be demeaning to the LGBT community itself.

See @SirAF, I am way smarter before happy happy bourbon time.

That’s fair.

But after a few rounds of that sweet grouse

I had to google this as I thought you were telling me to eat a member of @Mr Pigeon 's family.

But yes, all members of the whiskey family are welcome in my house, weather the be from Kentucky, Speyside or Dublin.

As nice as Speyside whiskies are, you can't beat an "omfg my stomach wishes it would die why the feck did i fecking drink this help me god" Islay single malt.

Can't say I've had a Dublin whiskey. Any recommendations?

When we were in Ireland we did a whiskey tasting and I quite enjoyed Powers gold label.

I'm way out of my depth in US politics, but this Lindsey Graham thing feels like 2020's Ted Cruz vs Beto. He's almost certainly going to win, and getting excited about that race is likely just distracting from the more realistic battles.

Likely, but the Beto thing did help the Dems win downstream ballots in Texas in the House.

If Ohio is already lost to him, he has lost the election in a landslide. He has no chance of winning without some or most of those states.
Ah ok. With all the focus on Pennsylvania, Arizona, Florida, and whatnot, I'm not sure anymore what pathways to victory there are left for Trump and what role each state plays in them.

How was Trump polling in these states? It doesn't make much difference if they were basically lost to him already anyway
Losing in all of them. Ohio has been quite the bellweather in that the state has only voted against the actual president twice since 1900.

Yes, but if Trump loses those three states - Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin - then effectively, given the rock solid Democrat states, Trump can only afford to lose just 18 more electoral college votes if he's to win.

Have a drink every time Pence says "under President Trump's leadership" or "President Trump"

I was told he was good at debating. He is really really not. Sure, compared to trump he is better, but damn.
