No war was good and our foreign policy has literally fecked up the whole world. And I’m sorry it offends but I don’t recognize him as a war hero. What we did in Vietnam was fecked up beyond humanity and anyone who participated are no heroes. The real heroes are the ones who refused orders to go. McCain also spent his whole career trying to be a warhawk and make this world a worse place for normal people and a great place for the richest of the rich. So, feck him.
The Democratic field should be cut in half by next week.

Gabbard talked about foreign policy any opportunity she got, including when asked about things not even remotely connected to foreign policy.

How would they be heroes for you? I don’t see how a war that does nothing positive for the world creates heroes. Acts of heroism between one another, sure. But not heroes. I understand it’s a controversial and potentially offensive opinion because people have family who served.

Of the 24 candidates, only 3 had endorsed Bernie last time - Tulsi, Mike Gravel, and Marianne Williamson. Warren and Biden abstained. To the best of my knowledge, the other 20 endorsed Hillary over Bernie.
I just think a true hero does something objectively good for the world. Nothing about Vietnam did any good. We were basically the bad guys / aggressors and on that front alone, no one comes out a hero. Consider actual bad guys we’ve faced. They may have done acts of heroism amongst one another (saving a life) but no one calls them heroes.

Why would any of them do that? Sanders, Harris or Buttchug will tomorrow and that’s what counts. They have little enough time as it is without bringing up Biden.
Warren’s surge seems to have consolidated for sure. Won the MoveOn straw poll, up to 18% in latest YouGov poll and this debate if not help at least won’t hurt.
