Fair enough. Either way we're unlikely to bother the Georgia poll workers with our impatient whinging.

We should rise up and exert our rights to form a well armed militia to deal with a despot in the White House.

That or post memes about Umpa Lump the Hutt.

Either or.

If the 4400 in Gwinnett comes in at roughly 2.5:1 D (which is on the conservative side), Biden will net about 2k out of that.

I still standing by the 1.5-2k estimate when the count ends, but wouldn’t be surprised to see it closer to 3K.

Well, the first option sounds suspiciously like work so...

Holy... that 500 vote could change the history of iraq war
That's one of the most depressing things I've ever read.

Iraq was the biggest disaster since WWI in my opinion, of course implying that WWI was pretty much responsible for the outbreak of WWII. You'd also wonder what Gore could have done when it comes battling climate change back then.

In the latter though the expectation is it might actually widen. Apparently it was late mail in which skewed republicans but polling day drop offs were relatively even between registered Dems and Reps. So factoring independents it might widen or stay the same or tighten but the expectation is not by much in either way.

Even DJ Quinlan says on Twitter that Trump will gain some net votes over the remaining count but that it won't be enough to overcome Biden's lead.

People voting for Kanye West are just as bad as the people voting for Trump.

Morons, biggest election of your life and you're just wasting your vote.

So Biden is probably going to win with over 300 votes?

Sorry people, just waking up, any chance of a summary of where we are since I bailed 6 hours ago?

I'm no Trump fan but I’ve noticed that the BBC seem very biased against him - aren’t they meant to stay impartial?

Facts aren’t in his favour.

Nothing flipped yet, all very close now though and a matter of time.

Georgia will flip to biden. Could be as big as 2000ish votes at the end
Biden is crushing it in every PA county from my reading. Simply a matter of count speed.
Biden should hold a AZ lead around 45-50k

Yes. Exactly the same place.

600 in it in Georgia with a few thousand left to count, 18k in it in PA with loads left to count.

Oh and Nevada is still asleep.

edit: numbers

Brush your teeth, take a shower and keep the celebratory breakfast ready.

Georgia is 500 votes away. We should have them in by the time you are done with your morning chores.

I have two irrelevant questions:

1) What the feck are they doing in Alaska? They probably have more penguins than people there and yet they're nowhere near finishing the counting.

2) Why are CNN not calling Maine-2? Trump is 8% up, it's as done as done can be.

I mean, there's not exactly a lot for them to be unbiased about.

"In fairness to president Trump, those cells he keeps the asylum seeker's kids in are really well built."
"200,000 might not be great but at least it's not 300,000!"

You could have counted a UK general election, held another the next day and counted that too in the time since polls closed in the US
