Those needles were a pile of crap and caused a lot of unnecessary angst last night.

despite all the hype on artificial intelligence and Machine learning fuelling stupidly complex algorithms, this election has proved that pollsters and election data analysts still know shit.
 
Under 67-33 and Trump wins, anything above then Biden takes it.

They update the count roughly every half hour or so, anywhere from 10-25k votes.
 
CNN basically saying Trump fecked himself over.

Even they don't think Biden is relevant..

Dems are going to go for the fecking jugular with Trump. They have to supress any future wankstain who thinks they can do what Trump has done and get away with it. There needs to be consequences for his shit!

Reporting error of about 40k votes got the Georgia one wrong. That and they factored Florida in to their model, so as the night went on Florida became less representative.

Polling didn't have a good night but I think NYT did well.

People naturally overreacted to the numbers but a few on here called it well (@Kentonio @Raoul from memory)

Apart from all the pharma ads which are ever present. And also a ton of the testosterone boosting products when the NFL is on.

80K of the Maricopa county votes came in resulting in an approx 10K narrowing. There are 340k outstanding. That would bring the margin down to around 40Kish. Would I think still looks like enough of a margin to be relaxed about AZ.
