So there has been a slight change in tactics from Bayern at the start of the 2nd half: Davies is playing a more reserved role (almost like a traditional full back). This is allowing Goretzka to push up higher and take Ander Herrera's attention away, and it's making Coman an even bigger attacking threat.

I mean sure from a defensive point of view he would do far better. But we wouldn't be able to play out from the Bayern press because of how poor he is with the ball and how clueless he looks going forward so Bayern would just let him have the ball the odd time we do have the ball until he inevitably loses it.
