2017 Redcafe NFL Fantasy League

Last week I got dumped on by Brown.

This week, i got dumped on and pissed on by Jones.

9-3 and an L2 streak... peaked too soon! Going to have to make some big changes this week!

Wildcard Contenders

Too Many Cooks 1332 points
JP Rouve 1283 points
Organic Potatoes 1286 points
Man Of Leisure 1275 points
Keyster Soze 1315 points


Best hope for those teams is Too Many Cooks wins and Keyser Soze loses, putting Too Many Cooks into the 5 spot and Keyser Soze into wildcard contention. Then they would still have to make up 28-36 points on Keyser Soze.

September

  2. RussellWilson 9-3 1427 points
  3. Team Jenkins 9-3 1400 points
  4. RadoN 8-4 1367 points
  5. Brady Forever 8-4 1229 points
  6. Two Tonys 7-5 1522 points

These 6 teams are locked in, due to Two Tonys being the highest scoring team and winning the wildcard. The only real drama is that there are two first round byes. Record is first ranking, second is points.
 
With some slightly better team selections i could have squeaked a couple more wins, but it has otherwise been a bit of a washout this year for me too.

Apart from Kicker / Defence i dont have a single player inside the top 10 at their position. Thanks ESPN autodraft.

That's tragic, especially in such small leagues.
 
So next week is the last week of the Reg season is it...

Looks like a win sees me a first round bye, unless both RW and Jenkins win and top me by circa. 100 points.

Problem is, I’m on a L2 streak and players on my roster are all of form!
 
Back to back defeats screwed my playoff chances sadly, hope for a win this week and then going out with a 7-6 record in my first season is ok.
 
Unleashing Josh Gordon this weekend, playoffs a certainty.

To be fair, dropping the highest scoring QB for Beathard was even more dodgy than my decision to roll with Greg Olsen.
 
What happens when we reach the playoffs to the players on teams who didn't make it?

Do they all drop onto waivers or are they locked out?

Fantasy season goes into playoffs in the next week or so, at which point there are 8 fantasy teams in each league that drop out.

That's 112 players that those who have made the playoffs might want.
