2015 MLB Playoffs!

Looking forward to the game tonight. It's mine and the Mrs anniversary so in order to not have to go out this evening I'm getting quickly wasted while she's out shopping.

Huge Mets fan. Hope Thor can crush it tonight, but he's up against probably the best pitcher this season in Arrieta.

An early run like last night would do nicely, but this game is so finely balanced it's really tough to call.

I'm obviously rooting for the Mets in the series, but the silver lining if they don't win it is that the Cubs at the World Series will be fun as all hell.

Let's go Mets!!!

I was hoping for a Cubs-Royals finale. Think the Royals can still win it in 6.

Cubs are toast though if they're not winning with Arrieta on the mound.

Game 4 is crucial for Jays, hope their hitting come to rescue once again.

I hope the Jays lose their series so the rest of Canada stops pretending that they like us and resumes hating the greatest city in the country; the jealous, gloryhunting cnuts.

Good game so far, mad in-the-field HR for KC in the first. This is going to be a great series.

Hopefully Salvador Perez doesn't have a breakdown in the next couple years. He is so good, but his offensive numbers have been slipping noticeably. Alex Avila was never as talented as Perez, and 2011 for Avila was probably an aberration, but my god he has broken down over the last few years. Avila was never the ironman that Perez is, but having to watch a 28 year old Avila walking off the field looking like a 50 year old man makes me worry for Perez. He broke down last year in the World Series, and he constantly takes punishing, and he is a big man for a catcher.

He is the best catcher in the American League, just hope there is some longevity in those legs

EDIT: What a game this is!

After 30 years, Kansas City fans were a little happy the Royals won. This is at Union Station where the parade ended. Took me almost 2 hours to get to someplace that usually takes me 15 minutes this morning.

Not my photo, nor do I work there, just shows how massive the crowds were.

Was in New York all week. Was great to be there for this. Just a pity the Mets did't put up more of a fight. Really should have closed out at least one of game one or game 5.

But to be fair. KC were the beter team. Really enjoyed watching it all unfold over there.
