2013 Redcafe Fantasy Football (NFL) League

Most people take running backs early. Sometimes the elite quarterbacks go early too. But you shouldn't take anything but Qb/rb early unless you think they will have a Calvin Johnson year or something.

Are you giving your rivals tips on how to succeed now? I was delighted to see one of my rivals select Tony Romo in the first round last year.
 
Okay I've got the league created. Send me your email address and I will give you an invite. Draft date is Sunday, August 25th at 3PM EST. Should be noon for Jveezy and 8PM for those of you in Europe.

We have 14 teams so I set it to 13 regular season weeks. That way everyone will play everyone. No divisions. We need to decide on playoffs.

Option 1 - 4 playoff teams, semis in week 14 and final in week 15
Option 2 - 6 playoff teams, 6/3 and 4/5 in week 4, semis in week 15, final in week 16


Standard scoring, standard positions. I've set draft pick trading to allow. So we can do the ESPN standard, which is to have their site randomly set the order 1 hour prior to draft. Or I can use a Random Number Generator and manually set it a week before and give people time to trade picks.


What I need from owners:

1. PM me your email address
2. Vote on playoff setup
3. Vote on draft order
 
One of the newbs has suggested we do point per reception scoring because of the size of the league. This could have a noticeable impact on the value of many players but it is worth considering. At the moment, I'm leaning toward no but if you guys want it then we can put it in.

I haven't recieved an invitation yet.
 
I do want to play, I want to be involved so badly, I have nothing else in my life, please let me play.
 
Draft is this weekend. Crackers and Stobzilla haven't accepted the invitation. MagicIrishMan and Mighty Boosh haven't PMed me their emails. If I don't hear from them by Friday, we are dropping them and going to 12 teams.
 
I'd be happy with four playoff teams and the ESPN standard order. Don't mind either way though.

Is two QB's the norm?
