100M is a lot. Maybe we should give 50M back to Woodward and the Glazers.
Im no ordinary can of pissWow, you are so wise Roy
Why give someone a 3-year contract if you have no faith in his abilities? If it’s genuine that they’ve only given him £100M (only!) when it’s clear the rebuild is going to cost at least 3 times that then it gives a clear picture that they have a lack of faith in Ole.
There is a bottomless warchest. They just arent going to let us spend it, because they bought the club to pad out their own shit business practices. The yearly revenue Man United generates should be able to build a side that could bury every club in Europe. That isnt even up for debate. Can you imagine any other club finishing in the position we have for the last 6 years and still bring in the money this club does? But we dont spend the money we generate. And havent done ever under this lot. The writing was on the wall when we sold Cristiano Ronaldo for a record fee and the Glazers went "we'll have that, thanks."The consequences of missing out on CL football. Or did people really think we have a bottomless warchest all the time

Because the sponsorship money isnt going into the club. It goes in someone elses pocket. We're not a football club anymore. Its been on the cards for decades sadly, but Fergie fought off the likes of Edwards and the Glazers, who were desperate to turn us into a giant Disney Land (apologies for using Klopp's line, but its relevant.) Ferguson was the base of the trandition of this club, and its slowly dying off.I doubt it. What's the use of those 150m a season sponsor ships when you have less than that to spend.

Transfers don't work that way. Purchases are paid in tranches over a few years.at the start of the week we were going to Spend 60 m on AWB and 80m on maguire where I went to school that's more than 100m . Everyday is a rollercoaster .

I know this is hyperbole but it's not even remotely true. There is a bottomless warchest. Neither is this.Because the sponsorship money isnt going into the club. It goes in someone elses pocket. We're not a football club anymore. Would they have given him the same contract at the end of the season? Why give someone a 3-year contract if you have no faith in his abilities?
I would hope those running the club are not as fickle as us fans who think bad results over a short period has no coaching abilities and lose faith.Would they have given him the same contract at the end of the season?
My point is one minute we are linked with 100s of millions worth of transfers the next we are broke both are BSTransfers don't work that way. Purchases are paid in tranches over a few years.
I think top 4 would be a amazing achievement next season,to be fair.Wouldn't entirely shock me if it's true.
Woodward/Glazers seem to only care about top 4.
And then we will probably fight relegation.
