1 mega signing, 1 big-ish signing, 1 prospect

Some clubs seem to be able to make the transfers happen some time in advance. Personally, I think it is a mixture of incompetence, lack of planning and wanting to spread the transfers out during the window to gain maximum media coverage. If we had all before preseason started, then the media would write less about us...
I do agree but we were in a really unsure position before the season ended. We didn't know if we were going to get top four or not which can really affect things

Well, then you plan for two different scenarios. One with CL and one without. Not difficult, and should be possible without having any experience in football.

Do you genuinely believe that Ed Woodward is purposefully not signing players just to mess with fans? United are one of if not the biggest team in the world. Of course newspapers are going to link us to everyone and anyone! Transfer deals take a long time, too. It's not FIFA where you press 4 buttons and it's done.

Well some other teams sometimes manage to press 4 buttons and it's done.

So, James is done (~£20m). AWB looks like it's almost done (~£50).

I reckon we've got one more signing. And it'll be a mega one. Who do we reckon?

More than mega signings, We need a true leader like Keano and a talented player close to Scholes/Giggsy mould--well respected by his peers to get our team elevated to next level. Hope Ole is looking for these qualities when they shortlist the targets. That is the only way to build a better team.

See City got Kompany as a leader and talent like Silva,Augero which made them successful in last 10 years.
