    Yeah, I don’t get the complaining beyond people clearly wanting Real to lose. It’s no more unfair than Terry slipping as he took his penalty. It was an accident but it’s not in the spirit of the game to let him have another go because he slipped.

    Mine regularly fails to connect and I have to re-start it to try and find a connection. Without fail mine will also freeze after about twenty minutes of playing meaning I have to re-start the Portal. When it works it’s good but it definitely has some major flaws from my experience.

    It’s gone well for Spurs and Arsenal. A new stadium just leaves me with ever decreasing connection to the club.

    I just think the top end players aren’t there anymore making the middle even bigger.

    Football across the board is at a low ebb. The playing field is getting gradually more level because more and more teams are putting the emphasis on pressing etc. it’s easier to become ultra fit than it is to become very good at football.

    Salah would’ve been asked to play as a natural winger in those days against full backs with free reignto kick him up and down the pitch. Maybe he would dribble more, but he’d score less.

    There are more goals per game now than there were in those days. That doesn’t point to greater defensive organisation such as is being implied. Unless you think the likes of Chris Wood and Mbeumo are just that good.

    The style of play and quality in the game now is shite. Doesn’t mean Salah isn’t a good player but I don’t know why we’re disparaging Giggs to big him up. Who is the best left back in the Premier League right now? Are they a patch on the likes of Cole, Evra or going back further, Irwin?
