We can discuss all the things that set SAF apart, but the biggest was courage.
He already replaced AWB by bringing Dalot, why bring an extra defender again so early?

Wan-Bissaka is going to take the heat off another Ole disaster class here.

If he takes us out the CL in the group stages 2 years in a row it’s absolutely a sackable offence.

You just have to believe that any of the other top 4 PL teams would handle this game relatively easy with 10 men.

We’ve folded at the first sign of adversity… again…

You can’t blame people questioning Ole after this, whilst the players aren’t faultless, a team supposedly good as ours shouldn’t fall to pieces so easily…

We're playing utterly cowardly football. You don't think we have the resources to be dealing with this lot better 10 men or not? We've barely touched the ball this half.
We lack quality in central midfield to hold onto the ball. How is Fred in this team

Ole needs to sub Ronaldo, this is the worst game scenario for him, you need someone who can cover more distance.

Why can't we fecking tackle. Or keep the ball. What are we hoping to achieve here?

This was always going to be a tougher game and much tougher group than people thought. Young Boys are used to winning matches, so it’s not surprise they have snapped into it since having the man advantage.

Oh, why this panic in here. One man down. Champions League. Away. Take it easy.

I don't care if we get a red card in every game. If we again go out in the group, keeping OGS beyond December will be criminal.

I said when the group was announced that not getting out of it should be a sackable offence

Ronaldo getting cross with his flapping about teammates

feck off. It’s the first game of the group. Away. And we had a man sent off early.

There's been signs of this. We've got a great record in the league results wise but any objective football observer could have told you that Wolves and Newcastle could, and ought to have gotten something out of those games. We've got such quality that we can do things in games to get the points, but if you're completely honest, there's an instability in our general football that I don't see with Chelsea even.

The problem is carrying Ronaldo while being down to 10.

    EDIT nm he got subbed.

Sad thing is we don't look any worse than before the sending off. I've never seen a team made up of so many great players fail to be dominant in so many of their games. It can only be down to tactics and coaching.
This really is the key. We have elite players, but nothing about our play suggests to me that we have elite coaching.

Ole gets all the time in the world for man management and squad building, but we just never look like an elite football team. And we really should.

Ronaldo is not happy. Lingardinho to do his thing now.
