I’m very supportive of ETH in general but that was an embarrassing set of subs and nearly backfired horribly. When you remove any attacking threat then teams don’t have to fear the counter attack.

On top of that why did we get counter attacked with a 3-2 lead. We had about 8 defenders on the pitch and ended with Mainoo chasing the attacker. Where were the defenders?

If he can be motivated to be professional, we should try although he‘s had enough chances. I‘m guessing he had a good talk with Ten Hag and is forgiven.

Mainoo was an undoubted highlight. But at the opposite end is Onana. And it hasn't been a huge talking point but he did exactly the same in this game against Wolves as he did when he should have given a penalty earlier in the season in another VAR talking point. When he comes for the ball and gets nowhere near he is rescued by Martinez or it is a goal. But on coming for the ball he once again in an identical scenario goes straight through the Wolves player. He is sadly a disaster and should have been dropped a long time ago because he is a key reason that we always look so unsure at the back.

Not really. It’s more highlighting how this place whips itself in to a frenzy and is more often than not wide of the mark.

Plenty of posters weren’t happy and had concerns about Rashford starting but were able to articulate this without the hysteria.
