Looks like they gave Spurs a bit of a battering based in the stats at the weekend. It would be typical for them to get their first win under their new manager against us.

Vs Spurs... 25 shots and 58% possession.

In 3 games they've had 70 shots on goal so far. I'm intrigued to see how Lage plays tactically because that seems pretty crazy to me.

Can't believe Spurs signed Nuno. I don't know if Potter was available, but he would have been so much better.

We destroy teams that come out. They definitely won't do that for sure. They saw what we did to Leeds in the 2nd half of that game. We're still winning this one, though!

Perhaps, but the stats don't paint a picture of a team that gives the ball away too much or concedes many shots either. Spurs managed less shots Vs Wolves than against City. Like I said, it'll be interesting to see what they're about. There are teams that we've struggled against who didn't park the bus.

Yeah it’s basically going to come down to if we can manage to not feck about playing out of the back. We play through the press well enough and we’ll put them to the sword. We look like we did against Soton and the game will become a coin flip

I'll be very disappointed if Ole doesn't start Sancho on Sunday, especially after James and Martial failed to impress in their starts. Varane should step in for Lindelof too. There's no logical reason to keep him on the bench any longer.

Yep, that's the team I was going to post assuming McTominay is out.

Though if a fit VdB still couldn't get on ahead of Matic or an Injured McTominay on Sunday, then I wouldn't be surprised to see either Matic again, or Pogba dropped back and either Martial or James on the left?

But hopefully it'll be the team listed above.

Quite worried about this one. Seems Adama now plays as the left striker alongside Jimenez so whichever starts out of Varane and Lindelof is in for a tough time. No doubt they’ll control the midfield too with Neves and Moutinho, so looks like we’ll be playing on the counter for much of the game.. but that can suit us.
