Time was up on 47:05 when Maitland-Niles picked the ball up 25 yards out and played a pass to his player on the wing too. No intention to blow the whistle then.It sucks that we were on the counter but time was up. We’d never have heard the end of it he’d played on and we scored and then we’d be waiting months for our next decision.
He blew up because he wanted to (and was technically entitled to), just like he didn't blow for WBA because he didn't want to. Those three corners easily took away 30 seconds of added time (which was way too short in the first place considering Johnstone took 30 seconds per goal kick from the 5th minute onward)
