Been hearing this for few weeks now.Not for long if we keep this shit up.
Who cares? It's 3 points.
Did sky mention it? Not paying alot of attention, but not heard any real condemnation from commentators.
That's easy to say, but you have to commit men forward, and then you expose yourself. And we're not exactly great at passing it around and keeping the ball.Nope, I don’t think we should have. It’s only by becoming passive that they have been in the game. We should have continued to control the game in their half and looked to maintain possession, whilst not overly committing men and not giving the ball away unnecessarily.
Been hearing this for few weeks now.
How did the free flowing attacking Liverpool do against them at Anfield last week?2-1 squeaky bum win against a team sitting at 17th in the league who haven't scored since the new manager took over. Really positive stuff.
Who cares about the past? I'm talking about now.
How did the free flowing attacking Liverpool do against them at Anfield last week?
We're second in the league, have scored the second most goals behind City, and have conceded the least amount of goals. And we're missing our best player. We're fine.I care. We should be better than this, but we're not.
But you are saying his style of management can not win titles, and its the same as it was when he won.
Are you kidding? Is this the first time you've watched Mourinho? Mourinho has always turned to contain mode after getting a lead. He's done it literally in every game this season for us. Not once have we kept possession to see out games, we always sit back in the second half, concede all possession and just look to counter. Every fecking time. It's not a coincidence, its very clear tactics. Then when shit goes wrong and we concede, its very difficult to turn the tide back in your favor.
Looserpool? You're on ignore. Why the feck are you comparing us against looserpool?
And how do you know how many chances they would have had, if we hadn't sat back? We could have conceded more. Now we won the game so it worked. It's a half witted tactic that makes no sense and doesn't work. They've had 5 times as many chances since we started sitting back, plus a goal.
Doesn’t mean he won’t still win the occasional trophy, especially when all other teams are as poor as they were in 2015, but it will be the exception rather than the rule.He won the league in 2015.
Why not?
He's won the 'occasional' trophy since 2005? Really?Doesn’t mean he won’t still win the occasional trophy, especially when all other teams are as poor as they were in 2015, but it will be the exception rather than the rule.
No shame in it, even the Italian catenaccio era came to an end eventually. The Mourinho pragmatic 4-2-3-1 has had its day as the pre-eminent tactic, it needs to evolve to stay relevant.
They halted the attacking machine that is Liverpool recently.
